I can't claim to have much understanding of German laws on dividends etc as I've only ever dealt with UK and HK companies, however I doubt the holding company will have much in terms of overheads and operating expenses, it could just be a case of loan out, management fee in - in which case any funds left over at the end can be taken from the holding company by the owners in addition to any reported salaries from the club itself

I really wish you - and others - didn't take every single rumour and believe it without the slightest scrap of evidence. It makes us as fans look like we're out to get the owners and detracts from the factual issues.

So sorry I have offended you. I have been wondering for some time why we seem to be always buying on the cheap. We have had playoffs, Wembley, sales of players Wyke and who replaced Hanson, one payed for the other so no outlay, then there has been payments from Wisdom and Nahki sell on clauses. I realise that there is no concrete evidence that this is happening, but in my view it most certainly is believable. So if you can manage to get off your high horse, and allow me to believe what I like, if you choose to rubbish it that is entirely up to you.

I'm not offended. I just like to have opinions based on some type of facts rather than jumping in with both feet. You can believe what you like but it looks a little silly to go into full melt down just because some guy on the internet has made a claim which to some extent has been debunked by other posters who actually seem to know about the feasibility of these claims.

We used to lose £1m a year and get that back through cup runs. We haven't had exceptional income from the cups for 3 years now, I'm not sure how much we actually got from the Wisdom and Nahki sell ons and I don't believe that you make anything particularly meaningful for getting to the play off final.

Isn't that simple maths more than a good enough reason as to why we're not exactly awash with cash.

i’m guessing it’s because as a business we also have significant overheads that need to be accounted for - such as stadium rent, stadium maintenance, training ground rent, pitch maintenance, electricity bills, tax bills, wages, transfer fees, medical bills, insurance, equipment bills and so forth. the list is probably endless.

also, any fees that come in from player sales or sell-on clauses tend to come in through installments over the length of the contract that the player has signed for. so we’ve probably only just got all the wells money - it doesn’t come in one lump sum. we also have sell-on clauses to meet such as money owed to carlisle and strangely ‘boro for the charlie wyke to sunderland deal.

it’s common knowledge is it not that we’ve often had to sell a player or go on a long cup run to break even for a season. well, we haven’t done that for a while so eventually that pot runs empty.

Well you obviously have your own view which is also based on no evidence other than historic facts which are not relevant under the current owners. However the next time I need to read a good patronising post I will let you know. You may think that my view was ‘silly’ and that I went into some kind of ‘meltdown’ but that is just your interpretation of what I posted. The truth is none of us know for sure what is happening, the communication from the club is abysmal.

We don't need this particular stick to beat Rahic with. Not when we have some many others to choose from.

no evidence apart from historical facts?

unfortunately the past decisions by previous owners do have an effect on the current owners. just like current decisions will have an impact on the next owners. there is no clean slate financially if the club changes hands unless it is sold to a billionaire, and forgive me if i am wrong but didn’t the current owners say they wouldn’t be throwing endless pots of money at the club and they wanted it to be self-sufficient like under previous ownership.

therefore the finances left or not left by lawn and rhodes effected the current custodians from day one of their ownership.

yes, not or not left - we have no idea how much was or wasn’t so we can’t say one or the other.. and yes, the family member that i attend with wanted me to be a city fan from day one so purchased me a ticket from my first year. then whilst i was living away, i kept up the purchase of my ticket as if i came back (which i did) i wanted to be able to sit with those i attended matches with before i left. giving up my ticket may not have allowed me to do that.. i didn’t realise everyone is answerable to yourself but is all that ok with you?
