Totally agree Border. Mansfield looked like the team we should aspire to be. They deserved the win because all around the pitch, they were far better than us. Wow, Hughes will have a battle to keep us up.

 

One other thing we need to improve radically is the training and general match preparation. We look shattered after about an hour and I've never known a worse season for injuries.

 

Well I'm not finding it funny , put it that way. Hes average at best. A long way short of what would be needed for a promotion side.

 

Disagree, he is a steady eddy and with time can link up on our RHS to good effect.

Anyway he is 65,000 x better than Threlkeld.

 

I think one of the few bits of positivity going forward is when the injured players return it will make a different to the starting line up, the likes of Walker, Vernham, Ridehalgh, Angol, would all be starters, we've seen nothing of either Eisa or Pereira to comment.

 

Unrealistic but I honestly wont be sad to see the back of every one of those pathetic excuses of footballers come the summer. There is not one thats worthy of pulling on a Bradford shirt and come summer I really hope we can recruit far more smarter than what we have done recently I feel we have been utterly wasteful!

 

Is a steady eddy what we want or have become accustomed to accept for a Bradford player as if it is were truly fecked!

Wayne Jacobs was a steady eddy 8/10 every week,

Stephen Darby also 8/10 every week

Both were an important part of successful Bradford City teams.

Yes IMHO we do need that sort of player to build on.

 

He was during his first spell too but got away with it because he's a city fan. Same for foulds.

If Walker had started today it would have been a different game, problem is we create nothing from wide. We need width.

 

Sadly we are crap mate. We need a lot of work and a very different approach to recruitment. It will take time

Hendrie isn’t anywhere near the likes of Jacobs or Derby!
