What does Sparks do then if FGR are prepared to pay a fee? He pays him off to F off.

 

I don't get this paying off the contract lark. It doesn't make any sense. If we sell him on 18th January, then surely we stop paying him on 18th January and on 19th he gets paid from FGM. We haven't released him, or agreed to pay him off, we've sold him.

Why would we pay off his contract when someone else has given him a new one, surely the process means that he agrees to waive the rest of his contract here to enable him to take up his new one.

Does anyone honestly believe that if Man Utd signed Harry Kane this window, that he would get a new contract there and paid up the value of his contract at Bayern ?

 

You are forgetting one key fact - did Manny want to go???????????????? You cant force a player to leave! You sometimes need to dangle a carrot in front of them. If the FGR fee covered what Manny wanted to go then why wouldnt you get rid of an unwanted player and save 6 months wages?

Come on.....

 

Big assumption that he has said that ! Why would he, the chance of playing at Vegan Burger King UK is much higher than here and he's potentially signed for more money and longer than he had left here.

I dont disagree. But if he was smart he could have digged his heels in and got the best of both worlds.

 

But still has no relevance to my point that their last 4 (5 if you include Hannah Dingley as caretaker) managers since they won the title have averaged about 5 months each.

If giving repeated managers 5 months each and then sacking them is a well run club then we have very different opinions of what that means.

With your thinking their fans shouldn’t be upset when they are relegated back to the National league because they won the league 2 title in 2022.

For clarification. Their RECENT record of success in L2 is likely better than BCAFC .

Their recent record of success in League Two is better for one single solitary season and they will be a non league club again by May. Exactly where they belong.
