    Manny's performances were generally shocking after his unfortunate leg break.
    But to be fair to him he never appeared to sulk around the place and always had a smile on his face.
    I wouldn't be at all surprised if his team mates will miss him being around, he appeared to have an infectious personality.

    I liked Manny, but I was a nervous wreck when he came on to play, you never quite knew what he would do. Terrible injury, I wish him well at his new club.

    Watching his first pre-season and the opening minutes of his league debut I thought we'd got a L2 Pogba. Sadly never really recovered from the snapped leg, and his loss of confidence badly affected him. Good luck with his fresh start.

    Manny has left. He hasn’t gone on loan like Oliver. We got a fee. FGR will have to meet his salary. So until we sign someone else we will gain the fee and save on wages!

    Like many on here, l got the impression that he was a pleasant individual. The awful leg break, may well have affected how he plays. His displays on the football pitch, other than being Bambi on Ice, will largely be forgettable

    Wish him well for the future, 12th March excepting.

    I was chatting to Greg Abbott when he was here in the Edin years and he said the benefit to clubs of paying up and settling contracts of players early is that the club then saves on paying National Insurance contributions on top of the salary.

    Good luck to him. He seems a nice character, but I agree with @Ulysses S Grant@Ulysses S Grant he was not the same player after the leg break - although we did only see 6 minutes of him beforehand.
    Alexander has given him every opportunity but clearly has decided he is not good enough.

    If anyone has watched a Deeney post game interview after a loss, you'll know he isn't shy about digging out underperformers..... his interview after Osadebes debut is going to be a train wreck.

    It isn't as if he is injury prone. You can hardly hold him responsible for Ravenhill's leg breaking tackle.

    First of all, a transfer cannot be forced through without Manny's agreement. That principle goes all the way back to the aftermath of the Bosman ruling.

    As an alternative, we could allow him to stay and continue to pay his contract. Or we could terminate his contract and pay him his contractual entitlement. Either of those options are possible. The second would have to be negotiated and would be a waste of time for all parties. Meanwhile, FGR couldn't sign him which they clearly want to do.
