For the record Boing I am not and never have been an employee of the Club. I was on the Board from 09 to 16 and paid a fee for the privilege. Since then I have been an Ambassador paying a fee. I have never been paid by the Club but have offset fees for work done (never anywhere near the full value). I am still working on three issues around property and corporate which is my background and have worked and completed several other matters over the last season. I actually have the files for my current stuff in Spain with me now so I can deal with stuff so ex employee - no, a bit concerned yes.
As to the sponsorship matter I think it was Bronco mentioned it but there is common knowledge in the Bradford business community. Hope that helps, back to the San Miguel.

Morning Roger, any chance of you shedding some light on what is happening at City? Herr Radic seems to have lost the plot, refusing to accept advice from others more experienced & is hell bent on doing it all himself. Lots of worried long term city supporters here who would like to know what is happening to the club we love? Seems no manager worth his/her salt is going to touch the job while he has anything to do with BCAFC?

But hey...he knows football. dark days ahead.

 

Gibson classed as a good signing is as yet unproven 1 game showing effort in a team that showed it couldn't care less ( he was bound to look good) Robinson to me is largely unproven he played well last season but again he was showing effort and enthusiasm in a largely deflated team so was forced to "stand out" Remember Mark Marshall was a one season wonder largely down to the experienced manager knowing how to get the best out of him Lets keep our fingers firmly crossed that's not the case with these two. Remember also that should they become a valued member of the team they will be constantly touted out to other clubs and first signs of a decent offer will be sold from under our noses leaving us wishing and hoping for another young hopeful to bolster the first team. Agree or not and to some extent like most other clubs we have become a "feeder" club for the big and not so big clubs

 

Absolutely. Replace promotion chasing with feeder club and you pretty much sum up the animosity towards Edin.

 

Who have we sold recently to a bigger club#?

 

I thought the clue was 'pointless', so if so aren't you being hypocritical...

 

Wouldn't really class it is animosity more a concern for his unwavering tunnel vision for our club
Who is right or wrong wil be proven at the end of the season Would love to be lauding his achievements but have serious misgivings
Only time will tell

It's the aim. Edin's confirmed it. We're a feeder club. The main goal for the new guy is to develop and play young kids.

 

Come on the first season there was no set up there. We can only judge on last season and we have got Robinson and Gibson coming through and other younger players bloodied.
As for the model if we sold Wyke for asay a Million I think we could improve the whole squad with that. Peterborough are revamping the whole team with the imminent money for Marriot.
Some people are suggesting we are going to pack the team out with youngsters I am sure that’s not going to be the case but surely it’s a good thing to develop them alongside a balanced team

 

Have we not just signed a player exactly as you describe? Someone who has experience of playing in this league and the championship and who has openly said he feels his best years are yet to come?

 

The aim of the new coach is to develop players alongside of results. So results won’t be the only criteria

 

Morning steve that’s freedom of contract. I do critize the club for not having the players resigned earlier

 

I said it before and now I will say again., the floating fans come.to watch a team try and go for promotion , not a feeder club for the biggers fish.
