M606 crash

Bound to be blamed on police.

Bet he never did anything wrong, was a lovely young boy

 

Apparently the passenger in the stolen van was 'most polite well-mannered young lad' but didn't seem to mind nicking a van

 

Dreadful story.

Imagine getting a taxi home and that happens, you and the driver.

No words for it.

Nobody wins, absolutely nobody.

 

Just read about this. 3 lives needlessly lost. Extremely sad.

 

Hopefully people will learn, but probably not those that need to

 

Were the police in pursuit when they were speeding on the wrong side of the road.

I think they were on the correct side of the 606

 

He was on about if the police were following

 

"The evidence currently available indicates the police did not follow the van the wrong way onto the motorway.”

 

By reading into it it seems 2 of the lives lost were needless. The ones in the van? Shame 2 of them didn't, I hope their lives are haunted until their dying days for what they have done.

 

My point was if the police were chasing them and they were on the wrong side of the road surely there was every chance the stolen van would meet cars coming in the right direction the police should have stood down and stopped the pursuit, maybe had police cars/vans awaiting when they left the M606.

 

Sympathy for van occupants....NIL.
Sympathy for taxi occupants....PLENTY.

 

As I understand it, the police did not follow the van when the 15 year old driver drove the wrong way round the roundabout and headed north on the southbound carriageway of the M606.
