Loyalty Points & Priority for Away Matches

That would mean the end of the away priority card then?

 

There isn’t an away priority card this year.
I think that was used last year whilst fans were given the opportunity to acquire loyalty points for the following season

 

My understanding is that the priority away card will return. Loyalty points are just an additional measure to ensure low allocations are not overwhelmed by a higher number of priority holders.

Say we have 500 tickets, but 750 away priority holders. Tickets will first be offered to away priority holders with over X loyalty points. Then if those aren’t sold, then holders with over Y priority points.

Also financially it doesn’t make sense to miss out on a five figure income.

 

if that is the plan then they misrepresented that last season as that wasn’t how the majority of people took what they said

 

Surely the easiest thing would be for @Fordy117 * to issue questionnaires to all season ticket-holders establishing whether they know we train at a school, that the squad is no better than lower mid-table, because that's where we finished last season, that Sparks is a merely a tea-boy, and Rupp is the worst football club owner since Gillette and Hicks. Points would be allocated based on answers to those questions as well as how pessimistic you would be about the coming season.

It would be strange for the club to turn down £30-60K.
I think we'll see short windows ie. Priority card holders with 800 points get 24 hours to purchase (dependant on away capacity) etc.

 

when they announced the new scheme they said those with more points would have priority, so that rule out a priority ticket because that could mean the person with the most points not being top priority if they do not buy. A card

You'd have thought @Loyalbantam would have been on by now telling us exactly how it would work going forward, we were given to believe last season was the last season priority cards would be available and loyalty points would be the way forward.

 

The loyalty scheme is in place. You can see your points by logging into your account. I have over 700, others have over 800 whilst others are in the 600s. You'll know soon enough how it will work with Barrow in the middle of Summer being offered to those with over X points which will probably cover the top 600 on the loyalty chart. They will have one or two days to buy a ticket and then the bar will be lowered to give everyone a chance. My guess is if you have less than 700 at this stage you aren't going to Barrow, Hartlepool or Harrogate early in the season.

Every tinpot allocation is prior to November this year, Barrow, Hartlepool, Harrogate, Salford, Sutton. In between these there are long haul away trips on an evening.

Away tickets will be difficult to grab until later in the season.

 

FYI you can build your loyalty points before the start of the season by attending the Derby and Sunderland friendlies

I thought they didn’t carry over? So I guess 510 from last year will see me watching on iFollow. I didn’t attend all home matches. I just couldn’t it was dire. Very unusual for us!

 

They should give out 100 points for Papa John games

 

I’ve not seen any mention of that one yet!

 

Apparently details on priority for the upcoming season will be sent out to supporters in the next couple of weeks.

So we will be guessing and speculating till then

 

I suspect that I will miss out on a few of the games. I was a regular attender at away matches, not all but a fair number, until last season. I decided not to go to away matches because of the pandemic, so my points total is a lot lower than it would have been.
Hope I can build it up once again.
