I think you've made a presumption. Its not written anywhere that priority cards are stopping.
    Let's see what happens.

I'd think if you bought a season ticket those points for the 23 home games would go straight on no reason not to the club have our money and there may be a time when a fan can't attend they shouldn't be penalised, I would hope that's the case as at times the stewards have messed about trying to scan my ticket and eventually waved me through.

Yes you've told me already https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/loyalty-points.6250/page-4#post-652434 no panic this end if the loyalty points system is applied this season it should stop any arguement but we know it won't.

Pretty sure the whole point of loyalty points is to stop people (like me last season) just paying £30 to queue jump.
It rewards those who go to the most games.
I don’t think it’s a presumption, it’s just how loyalty schemes work generally.

That's not been written anywhere though so it is a presumption.

It could be a mixture of the two. Priority and Loyalty points.

Like I say, if loyalty cards are continued then it’s a waste of time for those buying as there’s thousands of fans with over 500 loyalty points

Loyalty points are good and fair method of distribution of tickets it doesn’t need anything else

This is an example of what Sheffield Wednesday (who issue a similar number of points for attending matches) do.

The required points varies according to the away capacity and likely demand. I picked Fleetwood as, for Sheffield Wednesday, it was a very high demand fixture:
    https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2022/february/ticket-details-fleetwood-v-owls/
    TPP = Ticket Priority Points

For that match, at Fleetwood (1,129 tickets), they sold out on the morning of Friday 11 February, that is the 'Season Ticket holders with 800 or more TPP' stage.

Everyone had the same chance to purchase a priority card, because they didn't purchase one why do you class yourself as a queue jumper.
I believe its been quoted the club get a % for every away tickets they sell I would doubt that equates to £1 per ticket sold but if it did the club are getting a better return on the priority card members that those who just purchased an away ticket over 23 away games, plus they are getting a % of the away ticket priority card holders have purchase win, win for the club.
For regular traveling fans like Shipley Bantams etc who attend most away games it's a no brainer and hardly a bank breaker over the season, as it turned out last season with the football on show I don't think there would have been many/any disappointed fans missing out on a away game.
Not having a go at the club as they look like they are turning things around behind the scenes but this could have been dealt with when the season ticket campaign was announced, I'm sure the powers that be might see comments on here with regards the priority card scenario and make a call one way or the other.

Anybody could accumulate loyalty points by getting a ST, 1903 membership, etc, but that doesn’t reward those who have committed to travelling and following the club away. How is it fair that someone who has only attended home games and purchased additional extras gets the same privileges as those who can’t necessarily afford the 1903 for example on top of the away games.

By purchasing an away priority card a supporter is signalling their intent on travelling away. Therefore away tickets must be awarded to away priority card holders before / alongside loyalty points.

I get the feeling that the only fans campaigning priority card to continue are those who rarely attend away games because all the fans who do won’t need a priority card will they ?

To clarify, I'm not campaigning for anything. I've got 750 points so will get to my fair share of away games next season one way or another.

I'm just correcting a misconception that Priority Cards are definitely ending. The club have not said that in any of their communication.

Somebody should send this to Ryan Sparks to ensure he knows how to operate a loyalty ticket scheme correctly.
Any other method than how Sheff Wed do it is wrong.

FWIW, I do it in reverse. One of our group buys the tickets collectively using Friends & Family. So as an example, I don't pay the club direct for my ST and yet I have 610 loyalty points showing against my account. From that I can only assume that the ST tickets you bought will credit the loyalty points against your friends' accounts.
