Came back with a spirited performance but undone early on by poor defending and an injury to Sutton,

 

Wasn’t poor defending it was good play if you watch the replay.

 

Disagree, was poor marking and defending, plus what looked like a savable second goal

 

Opinions eh? The world wouldn’t spin without them.

What frequency is the radio coverage on ?one of the compensations of the journey home was listening to the post match coverage interviews and the phone in. Now on the same DAB channel it’s town fans moaning about their recent dismal performances and I can’t find anything on FM

 

Yup, same experience here. I kept searching DAB frequencies on my car radio and couldn't find coverage of the City match.
I tried 11B as someone suggested above - it was playing country music.

 

This is the response to an e mail I sent there are two DAB transmitters one is for Leeds presumably for United and the other 11b I think is for Bradford/Huddersfield but what determines whether you get us or town

I'm sorry you couldn't listen to the post game programme after Saturday's opening day win for City.

Now that DAB radio covers 99% of the Radio Leeds area the 774 MW transmitter has been decommissioned - that isn't just for BBC Radio Leeds but for BBC Radio stations nationwide, so was out of our control.


You will need a DAB radio to listen to Bradford City Football commentary and reaction across the city - but coverage outside of this area is unfortunately not possible via the DAB transmitters.


We now have two DAB transmitters allowing us to carry two separate programmes in a better quality of broadcast, but you may need to retune your radio and find two services called BBC Leeds.


When you do so (and I would suggest doing that when within the City) you then need to try both of those options on the dial and you should find the game you require - and therefore the post-match programme you require when leaving the ground.

This has worked for me in the past

Do you have a smart phone Park ?
If so download an app called Radio Player
Either by Bluetooth OR cable connection link your phone to your car media system

On Radio Player search for the applicable radio station and stream it direct to your vehicle sound system.

The only time you lose contact is if your phone isn’t getting a signal from the provider transmitter.

I used to get it driving around Hertfordshire after the game had finished if not always the game(Streaming rights!)

 

Thanks for that info @Park bantam I will have to get OH to pick us up in my car after the match then. My Skoda can get DAB but his car only has FM and AM.

This works for me when the wind is in the right direction...!!

 

Obviously you can set it up at home sat in your car in advance, then when in the car search for the station on the App Player which you can then set as a favourite..

If you get stuck..shout PARK, happy to help, but it’s quite easy as long as your car system can accept external media, which most cars can.

To paraphrase Saturday's commentator " Park Bantam needs to be careful " when tuning in to Radio Leeds.
How many times did he say " City need to be careful " whenever Oldham crossed the halfway line?

 

I’ve struggled to get commentary or video abroad unless you pay the ifollow fee. I too used to enjoy the post game analysis but this went off shortly after the game.

That's not a very helpful response from Radio Leeds, is it? I was on Manningham Lane trying to retune my car DAB radio and couldn't find the frequency to get the City after match discussion anywhere.
Surely they could have told you what frequency to tune to?
Does anyone have any idea what DAB frequency the City coverage is on?
