Nothing beats that away game at Hull when Hull gave City fans the Home End……..Happy days!

 

to be fair if we drew Manchester United away in the 4th round an it got televised, we’d be asking for 45% of gate receipts so can’t really complain if the shoe is on the other foot

 

A decent start to the campaign and I can see this fixture attracting decent numbers.

 

Always a fiesty one when we’ve played Hull. They travel in numbers and it could be televised too.

Decent draw to get the juices flowing early on in the season. Looking forward to this one

 

Enjoyed the game but not the run back to the car at the end

 

I parked in a council estate behind the South stand. No problems, probably because of the big Broach Hill Citroen sticker on back of my car! At that time worked in Hull and lived up the road in Beverley.

 

I'll still be going to this game regardless of it being on TV. However I'll record it for no doubt the memory lane bit about the Cup run.

 

I think both clubs need to agree. However, I'm sure City will put forward estimated gates based on entry price.
I think it would need to be £10 entry to get a half decent crowd.

 

I remember when you could have a night out and fish and chips on the way home and still have a couple of ferrets left out of a whippet. Those were the days

 

I didn't realise the League Cup started before November, you'll be telling me the FA Cup starts before January next

 

Should have tried walking back to the train station.....after a 'fiesty' encounter with the Hull mob at the end of the road!! The stories I could tell about that day!!!

Leeds at home in 2014 was £10 a ticket if i remember correctly.

 

Every club gets 45%. If TV matches were announced after tickets going on sale that will only end in a lot of unhappy fans as most of the time being on TV means the kick off has been changed.

If the club really want to stop cash turnstiles and pay on the day then imo this is a cost they should absorb themselves.

I'll wait until the new QR Code system is bedded in and working properly before putting any trust in it.

 

The one benefit of lockdown was it taught me I didn't need cash. Cant remember the last time I used an ATM

 

My telephone and Apple Pay is the best thing since sliced bread imho. I can never remember my card pin numbers, so all the phone needs is my ugly mug!

Cash use is rare to non existent these days for me personally.
