I think if there is any issue at all...and I hope there isn't...it's down to Hudds decision to send him here because he would get more game time. I think its probably becoming clear now that due to the way we play, not his ability, its unlikely he will start many games. I really like Kian but can fully understand that he might end up somewhere else in Jan.

 

To get into the team you have to take your chance when handed to you.

So far no striker is doing enough to dislodge Andy Cook from his starting position. When he went 1 on 1 with the keeper on Saturday, if he had scored he would have helped place himself up the pecking order. By the sound of it he is looking to get his chance and work to be first choice but that doesn't happen overnight when the fella you are trying to replace is making his mark on being top scorer.

 

That's all true. Missing the chance of selection for 3 matches due to a lack of self control didn't help either.

 

Maybe Harratt could play the No.10 role, just behind Cook, at least the lad isn't afraid of shooting?
Still not convince by Chapman I'm afraid.

I can see his frustration and he has two options

Make himself first choice or give up and sulk.

I agree with what everyone has said since my last post. But as we know only too well at City, not everyone is suited to the lone striker role. I don't think he will sulk and I think he will score goals for us, and I agree that his red card and his miss on Saturday won't help his cause. But I think the system rather than his ability will limit his game time, unless as someone said he could fill the no 10 spot

 

Footballers are just people like ourselves that are doing a job and don't need all this shit splattered all over the place. Some supporters need to get a life instead of stalking the players and writing crap on social media , at the end of the day we go to watch a football match and there's no need to be obsessed with what the players do in their private life's.

So actually he's a young, talented, honest lad who's finding it hard at the minute and wants to do better. Sounds exactly the type of lad we want and we should have his back rather than picking apart something about his dogs.

Honestly an overheard staff conversation sounds like a load of old bolloxs to me when would a fan be in a position to hear that and would 2 staff members close to the squad be stupid enough to discuss that any where around fans.

 

The season is so young, honestly there aren't many of our players who are motoring yet. He'll be fine and will get plenty of opportunity to stake his claim.

He did, first thing I thought of when mention of him not getting game time was raised. Only himself to blame.

 

Go on Kian, go on a great run, score a load of goals and every time you score, head to the corner flag and imitate a dog pissing against the flag....

Do you know what. I really think he can be. He has definitely got something and I really like his attitude and edge. As I say my only concern is that the system we play may limit his game time too much for Huddersfields liking and his own development

 

He needs to learn being Jack the Lad doesn’t always work. He knows he needs to get his head down and learn the trade. Good luck to him. In a selfish way I hope we benefit because of it ?
