Arent they in the third tier? When he signed I'm sure it was from a club in the fourth tier?

If so, if nothing else, at least his brief spell in England has enable him to move up the German ladder!

Like others, I'm a bit sad about this. I loved his attitude at a time of rock bottom morale and I think he'll always be a bit of a cult hero here. I hope he does well in Germany.
Shame he didn't have more games like Oxford, where he definitely contributed to the victory that arguably turned the corner for us. But our playing style has moved on and he'd never have coped with our quick fire pass and move current modus operandus.
Our lack of wingers for most of this season certainly didn't help his chances of bagging a goal or two.
You have to believe this means we've definitely got another striker coming in before Barnsley, given the threadbare state of our bench.

I have said several times in the past on this board. He might not be good enough but he doesn't pick the team, so our managers at least must have thought he was the best of what we had. So he came on and although out of his depth never shirked it and chased lost causes. That's why most on here wish him well and have fond memories......apart from a couple of miserable feckers

Omari Patrick is pretty awful but he’s still an upgrade on Brunker.

With him leaving though, I’d be amazed if we don’t have something lined up.

 

TBF, none of us knows why managers make their decisions. It’s not always down to ability. As poor as Wright has been, he’d still be on the bench before some of the kids we’ve had there of late. Similarly, Jones has more ability than either Brunker or Patrick, but has been told to find another club.

If money was spent on effort alone, Brunker would have been worth millions.

 

As influential as the big man was I think we’re barking up the wrong tree here. I mean we’ve conceded 5 since chickson was sent off/suspended.

 

Shame it didn't work out for the big lad and good luck back in Germany . Always gave his all just a shame he was way out of his depth.

 

Must be someone coming in. The bench may have been threadbare but he was one of the few sat on it!
