    Didn't see that one coming so soon ,thought he would've gone in the summer ,must have someone lined up already ,best of luck to him ,god loved a trier but nowhere near good enough ,but did manage to see him score for us

    It's completely unsurprising. In reality, he was never really cut-out for it. However, he was one of the very few players I remember giving his all, even when we were at our worst, and you can't really fault him for that. Certainly the right thing to do, but I can't help feel a little gutted by this. Cult hero.

    Strange, considering his(non)scoring record for us but I was a little bit sad when I learned of his departure from the club.

    Maybe it's our natural leaning to support the underdog that made me hope against hope that he could have made it with us?

    Yeah strange isn’t it. Never looked up to it at this level but the lad always gave his all despite his limitations. Some players we’ve had could learn from that sort of attitude. All the best you big f*cking German.
