Josh vela. Shrewsburys player of the season last year snd a guy who they turned down a 300k bid for from Blackpool in the summer. He’s not coming to battle it out in the arse end of league two in our lifetimes.

James Clark? Played twice at Wycombe and is very raw. Zero appearances in the league might not be up to scratch.

Jackson may be tempted with a loan Move as his contracts up in the summer but again he’s not played much did have a good season recently and would be something of a coup really

Edit - missed our Ryan mcglaughlin. Only signed for Morecambe in the summer? Not sure why he’d
Come here and would need a fee id imagine?

Kayden Jackson is from bradford to so that will be in our favour a move closer to home and to play football again scored goals at this level for Accrington, rather him than Norwood for me to injury prone

I wish our owner would pull his finger out:

    Serious transfer fund for January.
    Sponsorship from German business partners.
Parent club from Bundesliga loaning us players.
Actually come out and speak to the fans/press/manager.
Show some interest in the club.
Attend a game over the Xmas period.
    Sell up and feck off.

The problem is Rupp has no connections to football whatsoever. It was allegedly Rahic who had previous experience / minimal contacts in the Bundesliga.

I had a quick Wiki of the other two. Grodowski: Also third division. Looks like his injuries have flaired up again. Hasn't played this year. Sattelmaier: Never played after his 13 (!) appearances for us. Is now a goalkeeping with a ...you guessed it....third division club.

yeah but I am pretty sure Rupp is not the only football club owner who has no connections to football. Do any of them? What he does have though, is business contacts, and I presume a bit of acumen in Germany. Surely he can do a bit of networking, jump on Linkedin and promote "his" club a bit.

Not sure he'd be shouting too much about being taken as a mug punter

If we are looking at loan players then some of the players that have done well are

Tyreece Simpson 19 years old striker 9 goals on loan at Swindon from Ipswich

Corey O'Keeffe 23 years old right back 5 assists 4 goals on loan at Rochdale from Birmingham

Dennis Politic 21 years old midfielder 5 goals on loan at Port Vale from Bolton

Nathan Bishop 22 years old goalkeeper regular at Mansfield from Man U and has experience in L1

Theo Archibald 23 years old left winger 4 goals 6 assists on loan at Leyton Orient from Lincoln

Jack Diamond 21 year old left winger 5 goals 5 assists on loan at Harrogate from Sunderland

If we can get any of these players in that would be good either on loan or permanent I can tell you Dennis Politic rejected a contract at Bolton and his deal runs out in the Summer he would be a great piece of business with that Crankshaw money if we could secure him for a small fee

Corey O'Keeffe's loan ends in January and his deal with Birmingham ends in the Summer he would be a super signing at right back

Theo Archibald again contract up in the Summer at Lincoln some say he's been Orient's player of the season would be well worth trying to secure on a permanent IMO

Never understood this “he’s from Bradford so it’s closer to home” idea. Unless the lad commutes to Ipswich every day he presumably doesn’t live local to VP. I’m from Bradford, that’s why I moved away, and in the unlikely event a job came up there I’d 100% not live in the city. Never understood why people think footballers are different, Ronaldo isn’t signing for Maritimo because it’s closer to home.

    He was given a club
well canavan lived in apperley bridge when playing for Plymouth, ridehalgh in shelf when playing for tranmere. Sure that will have helped the decision who they signed for

I wouldn't mind us having a go at the winger called Ajoboye at Sutton. Looked very good last night against Newport. Also Armstrong at Harrogate knows where the net is. I just don't know what contract he has, as it said the length of it was undisclosed when he signed on.

He drove to Plymouth every day did he? I’m sure where his family live swayed his mind a bit, but I’d say where your family is settled, the salary, club and division is more important than the town where you grew up.

    TransferMarkt :joy:

But that is true, could pay off some players or go for very little
