No he wasnt. He played and scored for Mansfield in the away match. If he had been at Tranmere as well, he couldn't have signed for us.

Those figures have been silenced by loads of clubs, that website is a joke. Can't imagine any wages are correct. They don't even match the same wages for last seasons list for the same players on both lists ffs...

Sparks said on the P'boro chairman's podcast in the summer that they don't offer silly money anymore, everyone signed was on around 1,000 - 1,500 range rather than the 3 or 4 grand a week mark we were paying before.... that's not to say guys like Evans, ROD, Paudie who were here before aren't on high money, it's just we don't offer daft money anymore.

 

Out of genuine curiosity I checked the website to see how they obtain their info.

They proudly claim:

Speculative, unreliable, dubious or at least unverifiable and un-attributable.

I find it hard to believe that revealing and/or publishing details of players wages (the only reliable source being the club itself or HMRC) would not in any case unleash an avalanche of lawsuits.
What other 'industry' publishes details of employee's individual salaries, unless there's a recognised pay scale, or to satisfy a requirement of the shareholders?
Wouldn't it contravene GDPR and Employment legislation? (I don't know - it's a genuine question)

But of course if it's obtained by trawling the internet, who could argue?

 

Both cook(e)s will likely be on a bit. Canavan, Pauline and unfortunately Evans and probably Gilli due to whatever weird reputation they have.
ROD probably was on a bug whack but less so now.
I also doubt Foulds is on so little.
Also Sonogo since he came here for more money on a wedge

 

Trawling the Internet =reading posters on various footie forums claiming their cousin's best mate's milkman knows player x, y or z and they've told them that they are definitely, no word of a lie, on 5k a week - and taking it as gospel.
