January Transfer Window

I know people keep giving you grief, but for me if we had a squad of players who I thought that’s where we should be I could accept that.
But we haven’t. I get they’re not world beaters, and we’ve no right to expect to walk this division, but the tools that Bowyer had at his disposal should absolutely have been comfortable too two / three. We’ve wasted a massive massive opportunity to get out of this league at the first attempt.
There’s a load of games and points to be won, but I just can’t see us getting anywhere near enough for the play offs never mind autos!
With perspective, Bowyer has turned a great opportunity into an absolute shambles!

I keep hearing this but remember where we started from we were miles adrift at the bottom of league one in May last year many people were forecasting we were going to continue dropping.
To many people seem to forget this

Hes been awful for 3 years. Its a massive downgrade on the two he have just lost.

 

I have slightly more ambition for my club, not sky high, just reasonable expectations.
We had a crap season last year, that doesn’t mean I continue to accept that. Especially when we have the players to back those expectations!

20 last season in this league. Wasn't the penalty taker either.

 

Doyle has that already for Swindon this season. He couldn't hit a barn door for us. We do need a striker but the problem lies behind the attack. We are all concentrating on the strikers yet we create next to nothing for them. We could sign Jamie Vardy and yet unless we have anyone with the ability to create anything then its absolutely pointless.
