It looks like @Fordy117@Fordy117 has an important role in this judging by his own avatar. Spooky. Is he trying to tell us something as well? Mmmm!

    Wouldn't me either
Vaughan out suspended tomorrow & we'll see how Donaldson comes through tomorrow for Tuesday.
After Tuesday as long as no new injuries, I can see Doyle going back to Swindon

Wrong in my opinion, but very Bradford City like

Think for me it will just highlight Rupp and Rhodes need to leave the club if it happens.

On a serious point, under what circumstances do you believe Rupp 'will leave the club' as you describe it?

Do you think he'll just walk away with nothing? Or do you believe he'll walk away if he is offered something less than he originally paid for the club, circa €6mill? Will he only walk away if somebody offers him his original €6mill back? Or do you believe he'll only walk away if he makes a profit on the original purchase?

I'm intrigued what your own expectation is which would induce him to leave our club.

While watching the PL show on BT Sports last night and they were discussing Man Utd last night they said the main things wrong with Utd is that when you have a club solely based on money then the football side doesn't work. You need footballing people within a club. Football first then business but the owners just happy with the balance sheets. Utd have turned into an Arsenal.

Rupp seems to be making no effort what so ever to move this club forward. I would love to see the email that @JonButterfield@JonButterfield recieved because he got played. Edin was a problem but at least he was trying to do things. Rupp is just leaving it to Rhodes and Rhodes is just stuck in the past on how he ran the shop.

For me Rupp isn't interested in moving us forward, so pointless him owning the club. He has to take a hit unfortunately. 3-6m take the hit and move on. Think he's holding out for a profit and that's the main reason the club isn't sold as yet. I think he is holding out for around 10m.

McBunie money, may Doyle money.. all trying to reduce his outlay while he's in Germany driving motor racing.

Rhodes has to go too and 100% Bowyer!

Bradford City are regressing.. we are now scared of Salford!

That's some progress. If I understand you fully, you believe he should be accepting between half and the full amount of what he paid originally although you believe he really wants to make a significant profit on his original investment. But he shouldn't be walking away with nothing.

Personally I wouldn't disagree much with what you're suggesting. But the clincher is this. Without somebody willing to buy the club for what he wants or even is willing to accept, he is going nowhere with or without Rhodes and Bowyer. And at this stage, there doesn't appear to be anybody in the wings who is willing to pay what he would regard as acceptable. Rupp will be with us until somebody comes up with the spondoolies he will accept. And whilst Rupp is here, so is Rhodes (at least in the short term) and so is Bowyer. Telling one or all of them continually that they have to go therefore is both pointless and tiresome.[/QUOTE]

100% right nothing we can do until Rupp decides to sell up but my thoughts is that as fans we are extremely ambitious.

I understand what Rhodes trying to achieve with cheap season tickets but cheap season tickets shouldn't lower expectations! I expect the club to move forward and not stand still! I expect the media to question Bowyer and Rhodes in their ambition for the club.

We were 100% right about Edin but why does Rupp get a free pass if he isn't doing anything?

Rhodes has the ship running but can't move it forward..

We won't know if they're any serious players in the market for the club until a deal is done but why should fans just accept Bowyer's boring football and Rhodes no idea to move the club forward while we wait for Rupp to say he's had enough?

We've no identity on and off the pitch! It's an issue!

Not for me. Got a massive pay out and would hate Bowyer's football.

I'd like a new RB but cant see it happening with 2 RBs fit. The big winner out of this is joe riley. Even though hes injured, if he got fit he could walk in team in front of mellor.
Just makes me wonder why we got rid of caddis at end of season, he was clearly swindons best player when we played them

Regarding Rupp he might be happy to sell but there are no takers at the price he wants. So he waits to see if we're promoted when somebody might be prepared to offer more. Or we're not promoted so things stay the same. Then he has to decide if he wants to 'take a hit'. He might hang on or he might wash his hands of the whole thing and take whatever he might get. There's really no way of knowing so it's pointless to speculate. What is for sure, however, is the fact that he isn't a football man, nor, despite his apparent credentials, is Rhodes. But while they're running the show we're certainly not driving forward, we're just treading water. And that in itself is depressing. Add to that a manager with a very negative approach to the game and it really is a difficult time to be a BCFC fan.

I am under impressed by things City at the moment, but if the brief is to stop the rot initially, then I suppose there has been a modicum of success. Trouble is, everything including the football, is acting out in slow motion. We need to see a few more sparks to rekindle excitement and optimism. But ALL running things have to have the same mindset and agenda.
