    Wouldn't say he got any further forward than wood does in fact wood has a good ratio for crosses compared to what meredith did that said meredith was good all round full back. My point is people complain about bowyer not letting defenders go forward yet I think parky was even more defensive.

    Parkinson played with 4 defenders, a LB with full license to attack, wingers and 2 strikers. Bowyer on the other hand plays a flat back 5, 2, sometimes 3 holding midfielders in front of them and no wingers to supply the strikers. Granted, when Bowyer finally grew a pair and decided to attack the football was better than it was under PP but right now anyone can see that he’s gone ultra defensive.

    Rose is a quality player in a poor team, though albeit he didn't look that good at the weekend, but who did? On either team? Hes a got a good all round game

    Leon Clarke, now theres a player that's always done well in the lower leagues! I'd be chuffed if we got him. Big, strong, experienced and knows where the goal is. Good call!

    Funny, I thought Cook was poor and was one of the reasons they hardly got a shot off. Looked slow and hardly won a header.

    Was only a week or so ago wood had put in more crosses than any other full back in the entire football week how is that deemed ultra defensive. Also mellor gets forward than Darby ever did although Darby was by far a better footballer.

    The whole set up is ultra defensive. 5 defenders, 2/3 holding midfielders and no wingers is a system clearly designed to contain the opposition. If you can’t see that then I really have nothing to say to you.

    Wood gets forward someone was saying he has one of the best cross ratios in the league and for that matter so does Henley and Mellor

    Wood being able to cross a ball doesn’t single handedly make us an attacking team. Besides, has his attacking play even been that good recently?

    Because I don't agree with you you have taken the hump. I clearly pointed out wood had the best ratio for crosses in the entire football league yet you chose to ignore that. Get me Darby and mezza cross ratio against wood and mellor and the latter will be better but has I said earlier the former 2 are better footballers
