Ah, thought he had another year. Probably more difficult then unless we can find a taker soon. If not it'll be down to T&S opinion on whether he can develop or not.

I think the odds are probably against him now, especially as squad sizes will be cut further next season.

Yeah a good point although if his deal was extended and a loan deal found that wouldn't impact the squad size anyway I suppose.

I believe that's still a distinct possibility, T&S say they have others who are more of a priority but if they cant be brought in we might be able to twist Oldhams arm and bring McAleney in, Monday should be an interesting day.

You may be correct as I say they have said they have other priorities but with regards the fee that might have been the case when we initially made an inquiry we're told McAleny has said to Oldham he will not resign for them, they will lose him on a free come the end of the season things Oldham have to take into consideration.
I'll be happy with who ever Turnbull, Trueman and Sellars bring in it's been a very good window so far.

 

Andy Kiwomya was correct yesterday, in my opinion, in that if we were to bring in one more player, it should be a central midfield player. Watt, Cooke and Sutton are currently doing very well, however, if one of them loses a bit of form or gets injured, other than young Scales, we have no other cover or serious competition.

 

A possibility with 9 games in 28 days...

 

Maybe a bit out of our reach but Arsenal have recalled Matt Smith from Swindon, sitting midfielder with a similar style of play to Stuart. Looks like Swindon are falling out with clubs players and fans at the moment. We could do a lot worse than bring Smith in on loan for the rest of the season.

 

I saw that yesterday he would be a good signing but would he get a game it would be unfair to leave anybody out at the moment

 

We've got 11 games in 33 days coming up I believe, we need to have the depth to rotate.
