If a prospective league 1 club has been knocking on his agents door he'll be off, wether tomorrow or in the summer. We can't match league 1 wages with the salary cap in place.

 

I'd like to think it was Rahic just for comedy value.

To be honest, I didn't know Bob Martin was still alive.

 

I think tomorrow will an interesting day Whatever happens it has been great to see City on the 'front foot' this window and really hope this is a sign of things to come

Am I imagining this or did the club confirm the other week that they hadn't received any enquiries about Wood? That's not to say there won't be a cheeky last minute approach tomorrow but I think it's more likely he'll leave in the summer, despite what he has said about being keen to sign a new contract.

 

I think his form this season may have put a few prospective buyers off, he's got the talent but its been hard to show it with the awful run we had prior to the new managers coming in.

I'm happy that wehave Wood in our team, but I think some people are making him out to be better than he is. He's a decent league 2 full back. Apart from his run into the box yesterday he wasn't great. His positioning at FB is often suspect, which is probably why Chicksen kept him out of the team for so long. Despite all that I would be happy if he signs a new contract.

 

I'd like an experienced Centre mid than can protect our back 4. We've been looking really shaky there these last couple of games and I think it's because of the lack of experience in Midfield. If we can add an Anthony Grant type who is happy to sit and communicate well I think it could really make us a much more solid team and give the forward players much more confidence to go the other way.

 

A scout I know said would not surprise him if 1 in 1 out, but came back to me this evening and said could yet be a couple in (wing and midfield) - asked if he had heard anything on Wood and he said he thought he would still be with us at end of tomorrow.
But after all that has happened this window, nothing would surprise me

 

French gone so more space in the squad for 2 bodies maybe

 

And DMH has also been shown the door, but unfortunately he is struggling to find it.

 

Nobody wants him, thats why he'll be the last to leave.

 

Getting DMH out of the club is getting as hard as getting the stragglers out of VIPs back in the day.

 

Contract termination would be my guess.
