He is under contract for two more years there is no issue

I have no doubt he would like to go Tranmere are right on his doorstep but he is a professional and on a good contract to enable a move to Prenton park it would mean cancelling his contract with probably city paying a percentage of earnings it’s not going to happen and probably from tomorrow they will only be able to pay him minimum wages. He is coming towards the end of his career he isn’t going to sulk and ruin it

Rhodes & Bowyer upset and you can't blame him for wanting to leave. Poorly managed.

 

Tbh, if he doesn't want to be here, then feck off Vaughan....

He needs to get his head down and produce, his career is littered with injuries and possibley questions with regards his attitude the number of clubs he's been at, without doubt he's no shrinking violent and as he proved with us at times can be very vocal picking up silly yellow cards.
As you say he's on good money if Tranmere want him make an offer no player is irreplaceable.

 

He also winds up refs by spending 90 mins per game winding them up. I was chuffed when we signed him but now will not be bothered if he goes.

 

City will be anxious to avoid the pr disaster last year over Doyle. The big difference here is we don’t want rid so as @Bronco says let them come up with the money but it won’t be cheap.and they will have to be very quick about it

 

He scores goals though and that is priceless

He's certainly a character, I questioned his attitude when we first signed him and unfortunatly he proved me right, unfortunately it's part of his game.
There is no doubt given the correct service and partner he could be in the high teens if not better, I hope he stays even in a poor team he was our top scorer.

 

Who else do you want to blame
I know our record at keeping strikers is exemplary

 

So if Tranmere came in with an offer of a decent fee and the player wanted to move could city be blamed for that

 

If the player was happy he wouldn't want to move
Who shipped him out and replaced him with Guthrie (great confidence boost that)
According to Mr Sparks we don't need the money
