James would come back if the club could match his ambitions. He said yesterday he had unfinished business at City.

He should be making himself some money now. He won’t do that at City

Yes, Dave recorded a podcast upstairs afterwards with James. It should be on here soon:

    https://anchor.fm/yorkshire-coast-history/

As for James not wanting people to share what was said yesterday, it's pretty standard stuff for somer talks and debates - The Chatham House Rules.

There wasn't much we weren't already aware of. Edin's claims of qualifications in and out of football checked out and bogus. Edin would arrive in the morning, throw his keys at a youngster and order him to clean his car. Key Players forced out when they would have liked to stay and a couple of amusing lines on our day out at Stamford Bridge. A lot of it was about his own background and he he got the job at VP. Nothing really to be held back in secret

Just listened. James sounds a genuine fan and a nice bloke. But I'm afraid also staggeringly naive. This is a continuous theme in the history of Bradford City, as I've said elsewhere, and the reason we have been where we have been since the war. We never seem to be run by people who really know football and who have the ruthless streak you need to succeed in a dirty business. Which is why we repeatedly get the wool pulled over our eyes in transfer dealings whoever is in charge of the club, John McGinley being only the worst of countless examples. And together with his other reprehensible attributes Rahic was naive too.

    Great interview
Totally summed up the feelings of most of the fan base
Our silent PR dept would do well to listen to this

Why wouldn't you want James back @Rocket@Rocket, he's a knowledgable guy with regards our club knows the job, he's worked with Julian in the past and with sponcors I'd think if someone is wanted for that position James would be a shoe in ?.

It's counterfactual for James to distance himself from what was going on. He mentions the Matter Of Heart dvd being a mistake but he plays a starring role in it and praises Edin to the hilt. If he was telling the truth on Saturday then the 'I Believe' season ticket campaign was a con to get fans to part with their money as he clearly didn't believe at all. He can't have it both ways.

I think James is a nice guy and yes he did some good things within the club. But would it work James coming back and does he really want to. The club does need a big shake up within but it doesn’t always work returning to your old employer.

I listened to the interview, good listen. James did a fantastic job while he was here but we are at a different place now. What we need now is a professional PR Team, there remit is to take what worked in the past, and enhance and develop the brand of Bradford City. To reconnect with fans and always always keep them onside. To develop a strategy both short and long term to bring investment into the club, to get the brand out there. It will be expensive, but absolutely necessary, that is where I would like to see investment from Stefan. At the moment it is non existent, most businesses consider this type of investment crucial to moving forward with confidence.

Wow @DazJack you joined the forum yesterday just to make that comment.
If your boss wanted to do a promotional video about his business and as an important employee you would be involved, you'd tell him you would not do it ?.

I'd hold my hand up, take some responsibility, and not really talk about it. Mason's changed sides to suit himself.
