Not sure how true but rumour has it he was involved with harrett

 

Well they did seem good mates and bonded during some early season videos that were releasef

 

I’m sure plenty of decent players were crap in training but can do it on the pitch, in fact I know it’s a fact as I’ve heard ex players say so on podcasts. The truth is that he is our second highest goal scorer and should be atleast starting or on the bench. My assumption is that he’s had a bust up with Hughes.

 

McCall was poor in training allegedly. He had a bust up with the then Scottish hair dryer manager and stormed out of training one day after a row over his lack of effort. You would never drop him as he always gave 100% in the game but less dso it appears in training

 

Yeah, but McCall had clear talent (I believe)

 

You are right but the principle of the best trainers not been the best performers is correct and Young may be one

 

He has goals in him but it's hard to see where he in fits in Hughes 4-2-3-1. Not a wide player who takes on a full back nor what you would say is a creator.

 

So by that deduction Angol must be ripping it up in training which is a surprise because he's terrible when he's on the pitch.

 

Chapman doesn't play out wide, although he may do when Jamie Walker starts.

 

Our whole team looks lightweight. I agree his game was off for the last couple, and I do expect them to get dropped if they are not performing. However, he is not making the bench now! We were told by MH the whole squad would be used, that has not happened. There are several players who fit your description of Young I have no idea what is happening behind the scenes but something isn’t right. You had Smallwood walze off down the tunnel without acknowledging the fans, who had paid to see that “performance” yesterday. My guess is he will play on Thursday, it appears to me that some players are on the team sheet no matter what!
