Theres two guys whos bought city but rupp never gets the abuse edin does.
No 1:rupp doesnt like football one bit and as now refused to put another penny in to city-he wants out.
No2:edin is lookng for new investors and even sponsors ,any thing at all to try take us forward.
No3 hes up set people behind scnes and said stuff in press thats not come off etc but we all have to realise there is a second guy here in the back ground that says yes or no to more or less everyrhing but edins the fall guy!.
Im looking forward to next season ,forget budgets etc its all about recruitment.we have a great oppertunity to remould the team.get shut of dead wood and transfer list wyke vincelot nkp, loads of positive things could arise from this season if we all pull in right direction.

Where have you heard that Rupp has refused to put anymore money into the club and wants out? Not questioning your source mate just hadn’t heard/read anything about that! Bad news if that’s the case

The above is what i have been told and firmly believe it.
edin is trying to juggle all the pound sighns etc ;its a simple spread sheet to work out ,anything we get from gate receipts ,season ticket sales, sponsorships etc is what edin as to play with.out of that cones ground rent, pitch improvenents, and our besotted over hyped playing budget...
theres no more owner investment forth coming at this moment in time(things may change).
The proofs in the pudding,we had chances to push the boat out etc etc but rupp as stayed silent with his hands firmly in his pocket.
what we earn is all we have to spend.

If this is true then Grayson will definitely walk in May and we will end up with Rosler as manager.

If Edin was on a bungee rope I'd gladly cut him some slack.

I've said before, I think Edin does want the best for us and if he is in Germany looking for investment then that can only be a positive.

However, he's very naive and deluded in what he's said and done in terms of football matters. I'll cut him some slack when I see that he starts changing his approach to things - starting this summer, keeping Grayson and how we go about our transfer business.

With season ticket sales so poor it is going to be a very austere season especially with the pitch repairs on top. We are going to have to use the loan market to the limit

When have they funded the club through their own money?

They haven't put their hands in their pockets yet.

They've reduced the wage bill and from that brought dosh players from sales of Hanson etc.

No slack from me.. Edin deserves everything coming his way.. he’a destroyed this club, any chance of getting to the championship has gone, its league 1 next season and league 2 the season after.. then mid table and relegation fights until he does one!

    2 huge mistakes by Edin

    1. Telling PP he was taking control of transfers and having a football director. PP told him where to go and decided to jump ship to a club where at the time was in a much worse place than city were.

    2. Sacking McCall after promising to back him in Jan if we were in playoffs... he never wanted Stuart to be manager to begin with.. only did it to try and win the fans, then wanted him to resign after McCall guided us to a playoff final and lost narrowly.

All we needed was someone to come in after Lawn and Rhodes sold the club and give the club some investment which would take us to the championship, not to put thr club back 10 years by interferring and signing crap!!

    EDIN OUT!!!

Fair post overall but put yourself in Rupps shoes he may be shrewder than you think (you don't get to be as rich as he is if not) He put the bulk of the money in to buy the club and leave Edin in charge Since that has happened he has seen his investment reduce drastically Our club has become disjointed both on and off the pitch the family feel has vanished discontent runs through our club from the very top right through to the fans. Rupp has taken a back seat and left it all to Edin who by no stretch of the imagination has he made a success of it. I certainly think that Rupp would have asked him to change his ways and bring his investment back to what he put in maybe he feels the same way as the fans and said no more investment till you do. Would you throw good money after bad ?? As for looking for new investors/sponsors it's hard to see what they are investing in it's ok ploughing money in to the academy but that doesn't put bums on seats (as we saw on Thursday) We need a product on the pitch soonest to attract such backing( which I can't see happening in the near future)We are an English club the German way of running a L1 club will not work over here maybe Rupp has realized this.
Let's hope our sorry mess of a club can be sorted and we can all get back to giving our full support

We've all heard various rumorers but the one that @south york bantams@south york bantams says about no more investment, I was told in February the club was running out of money and the reason they put the original season ticket deadline on 6th April was because we are having to use this money to get through, if this is true we are in for a very difficult period given they have said the pitch is to be repaired the squad is not good enought and of course Grayson and his backroom staff won't come cheap.

All depends on what the loss of season ticket numbers is made up of. If it is a lot of £5 kids and flexi then the income might not change much. Using one figure over time makes it hard to compare what the income from that number is

Even given your above @Storck@Storck it's hardly a massive amout of money to cover everything the two owners want to do, pitch new player recruitment and new manager and backroom staff.

If true we are struggling financially - we have owners cannot / will not speculate with more funds - we could be heading for difficult times.
I cannot understand why 2 supposedly " canny business men" just saw the buying outlay as the only investment needed, yes - get the club running more efficiently to make us more sustainable but they should have identified that some additional funding would be required as part of any investment - to take the club forward and continue the progress made up to their take over.
As it is their investment made so far, with how they have run the club to date you can see them making a loss - should they want to sell.

As @Bronco@Bronco as said there were rumours going round Rupp wasnt prepared to put any more money forward and we would need to use money from within or sell players for funds. Wyke and although young raw and still alot to learn Robinson are main 2 sellable assets.

Talk of a new consortium does have legs as does Rahic to get investors to take over Rupps share. Think it may come down to whether Rahic can get someone to work alongside him as he defiantly believes regardless of what we think he can get us up the football league ladder.

If we do manage to get 13k ST the budget itself will be similar to this season by all accounts I am told although the club have never given a figure they thought 15-16k was doable and with the extra money on ST we would be near a top 6 budget. On the other hand to this I know others on here have heard that we are using some of next ST money for this season that is also something I have heard. Whatever is going on a interesting summer is in store.

Certainly be nail biting. I heard strong rumours about a consortium as well.
