    So Scottish Independence hangs on:

    Cons
Loss of income from Barnett Formula
Wouldn't be able to use the pound
EU unlikely to accept yet another "net taker" as a member after losing the English contribution
Can't realistically fund increased benefits they want, free university and free prescriptions
Worst cancer diagnosis/ treatment stats in Western Europe
Biggest drug issue in Western Europe
Strong possibility of RBS/ HBOS & Standard Life relocating to London
Faslane Nuclear base will be transferred to Plymouth
Potential PM looks and acts like Jimmy Krankie
North Sea Oil revenues predicted to run out in ten years

    Pros
Scottish Football fans can get Ifollow

Yes but it’s mainly the selling club that benefits that’s why I said they should do a redistribution of the money

    My personal opinion is twofold:

    1) iFollow passes should be available for all EFL games, probably priced at £15.

    2) All iFollow pass sales should go to the home team just like match tickets do. Whilst we're in League 2 that would be to our detriment but if (when ) we move up the leagues then we're going to benefit more an more as we play teams with bigger away followings.

Totally get that many people will have different opinions, including our CEO, but I think that's the only way you'll get enough clubs onside in order to agree to change the current rules.

Yep, you've nailed it there, can anybody explain how so many apparently can't see through this...?

I would take a slightly different angle on ifollow in that it should be allowed on Saturday etc but should be priced as per the admission fee for an adult, as per the relevant club hosting the game.
Yes I accept this is potentially costly to a fan (especially those in lesser age paying categories) but you then could have multiple persons watching same game and clubs have to recoup potential losses, whilst making potential gains, especially in the lower leagues where finance seems an ongoing issue.

I used to be against the idea of ifollow on a Saturday afternoon but as @Kevin1954@Kevin1954 alludes and I'm sure many others can relate to and the fact you can watch on a dodgy firestick for a few quid benefits whom exactly?

Always be those whom take advantage. But it time to put the football consumer to the fore.

Dave I said I would pay double the price of a season ticket and I wasn’t kidding. It’s worth it! My health isn’t.

I’m lucky it’s affordable for me but others not so lucky, then put it down to money gained as little as they may charge, against money lost!

Good idea Dave. That would absolutely nail the idea that people wont go if its on Ifollow. Perhaps increase the revenue for the home club to the first 750 tickets as well.

So let me get this clear. I have VPN on my laptop and my location is currently shown as London (Optimal). If I change my location to Paris, which is easy to do, then am I right in thinking that I can log into IFollow and pick up the match through the City Website/ EFL IFollow site ?

Watching on TV is a lesser experience to being there in person though so I don't think the price should be the same. Somewhere around the 13 to 15 pounds mark would be a fair price I think.

It's more likely to be your router security settings than the actual speed.

I'm no maths genius but at £15 each with the first 500 tickets going to the home club and at £20 a ticket to attend, then the club are compensated for the loss of 300 away supporters ? How many matches would IFollow reduce attendance by more than 300 away supporters in this league ?

The EFL are an absolutely brainless organisation. Probably a hangover from their Shaun Harvey days.

I understand that and without a doubt, the matchday experience should be greater.

But money talks... Why do I get the feeling that representatives of the game representing our clubs would be more accommodating....

And if the price is the same for attending /watching on TV, those fans whom are able to go, have a genuine choice. At the moment the choice is easy... Its cheaper to sit at home reducing, potentially, income on snack bars and other sales.

Just my scribbles though on the back of a beer mat.

Now I have no way to substantiate this wild claim but the EFL are probably not lacking brain but are motivated by self preservation, greed and looking out for itself than the wider fan.

    But I'm probably wrong?

How does the fire stick work? In what way can you access iFollow, and more specifically, City matches? I use an IPTV service in Tallinn, and have some iFollow channels on there, but haven’t seen City matches. That’s why I pay 166€ a month and cast it to my TV.

But isn't that the point the powers that be are missing? Fans that enjoy the full match day experience and away day experience aren't going to suddenly sack that off because the game is available on ifollow. There are plenty of fans however that for any number of reasons can't go to games in person, but that could and would pay to watch from home. It's extra revenue there for the taking, madness it isn't being taken advantage of imo.
