One way of looking at it is currently out of 92 professional league clubs in England and Wales we are ranked 77th. Realistically the the first 44 places are out of our reach, so out of the rest we are ranked 33rd. Even for the 'big crowds' we don't create a big turnover.

    Chicken and egg though.
I bet the take up on season tickets is abysmal compared to previous seasons at this current time.
Countdown to our favourite saying being trotted out 'Deficit'.
Trust me it's coming, being followed by the 'Call to arms' we need you, 12th man etc etc

I hope and expect McCall is preparing a list of players he identifies as fitting his MO for next season. The summer is a big chance to just about rid the club of the madness of Rahic and Abbott in the transfer window. Hopefully long term we end up with some sort of direction from the top although I remain sceptical.

    It's a never ending spiral.
Clearout / change manager / clearout / change manager

What do want for 150 quid? Some sort of coherent plan? Pffttt.

Well I think Stuart and Kenny need excellent scouts, and I do hope we do not penny pinch in that department. I expect Stuart to set the parameters but I expect a good team of scouts to go and research and find players that fit the parameters.

and if that is the coherent plan going forward of £150 priced season tickets, then deep pockets are needed. As currently the club is not self sufficient.
We're running to stand still, a never ending vicious circle

Problem is though, is that without Rupps backing, Stuart’s list for the summer means nothing. It’s time for Rupp to stop playing God and decide if he’s going to back us or leave us. I sincerely hope that when Stuart signed his contract, it was based on funds being put into the club to enable him to do a job next season.

Here is the ticket price for Wycombe. Their average attendance is 5,571 I would anticipate that their turnover is less than ours and some of their costs, are likely to be greater.

You could sight Fleetwood as a good example, a well run club with an owner who has a plan. Very little in terms of support but financially backed by the owner. Coventry high up whilst playing in another City another example. Truth is we still have some way to go to rid this club of the Rahic era, only then can we even try to move forward. Problem is the whole ethos built up around the club has gone could quite easily never come back.

Don’t forget that every other “change manager “ is we have to give it to McCall.

It would be fantastic if an Andy Pilley got involved in our club unfortunately I dont know of anybody of his ilk who is interested in city although Pilley was a Blackpool fan so if a miracle happens we might just attract a philanthropist from somewhere don’t think us oldies will be around when it does.

I don't think I will be either. I love the club but unfortunately we are what we are, a lower league club just like all the others. Hopefully next season sees some shoots of recovery.

The other 23 clubs in our league manage to pass the ball around and score goals on it though.....

We're something like the 7th largest city in England. The potential is enormous. Leicester, Wolverhampton, Burnley, Sheffield are places similar to Bradford in some ways. Unfashionable cities/towns if you like. They've all got a premiership team. They've all been given a boost by rich people but look at them now, flying high. We've got a rich owner that someone needs to give a shake to. Show him what we could be in 5-10 years if he invests. Otherwise we'll be dossing around having the same conversations forever.

I say this often, that the decline of the football club mirrors the City as a whole and I end up with people telling me Bradford is booming, Cheap house prices, easy links to Leeds and Manchester. The same people who are pleased to be 9th in the bottom tier of professional football. There’s none so blind as them what won’t listen.
