Starting with resolving our long standing pitch issues would actually be a step in the right direction. It's a basic and key element of being a professional club. We should be aiming for much more, but if we just made the next 3 years about fixing the pitch (now) and then paying it off, it'd be something for the longer term.

Well as @Fordy117@Fordy117 would rightly say, that is not true we have a very rich owner for a league two club, but unlike your comment with regards United he doesn't seem interest in spending our way out of our present predicament..

Rhodes and Lawn admitted they couldn't afford the club.

    Rupp can so:

    A) you come up with a plan to convince him
    to spend more
    B) you suggest he just sells up and get out ASAP.

Why do you keep saying he won't put anymore money in? Do you know him?

How we operate now isn't working! Only a loser will think it is.

Definitely agree Onside Chief scout needed.A friend of mine was a Coach and Talent Scout in fact he did scout for City until a slight fall out I believe. My point is they are lots of dedicated people with knowledge who can do this for clubs but you do need a boss man who can pass it on to The Manager

Great Post. Its the nature of the beast, the weak get picked off by the strong. Bradfords long term future is to service big businesses around Leeds and the M62

Don't think we need a chief scout, stuart and Kenny Black, live and breathe football and are always out watching other teams play. As the old saying goes you can't polish shit. I believe if not this year we will have a team to be proud of next year and get promotion whilst playing the right way.

Well for a northern football club, I think potential boils down to population or as BFG called it, chimneys, he knew he couldn't "grow" Scarborough. It's amazing to think I've only had one chairman with any balls and a vision in my lifetime. The club has no long term successful future, it's fooked, the only way out is if somebody (completely crackers) took the club out of inner city Bradford and the obvious place, distancing ourself from competition & negativity is to follow the money along the Aire Valley.

A new owner and a nice new stadium similar to Rotherham's down the Air Valley would do.

If the area has such a devastating effect on our league position how come Liverpool and their anfield home are currently walking away with the premiership?
Sounds like a lame excuse to me.

Easy peasy then. Why don't you drop the EFL, the FA, the PL and while you're at it the Home Secretary an email and tell them of your suggestion to ignore the 'points' section of the new immigration rules? You know, the bit which largely defines 'skilled employees', ie the migrants who will be allowed into the country, in terms of educational attainment?

This close season it'll reach a critical point. The original scheme was sold via SmC's return as manager on a wave of optimism.

That's not there this time, l think we have a hard core of maybe 7k who'll pay the market rate, or more, no matter what. Needs a re-think.

Think we all know that Rupp and Rhodes have all on just to sustain this club let alone take us forward, just more of the same to come I'm afraid for the forseeable future...

I can remember going to a game v Port Vale (or Oxford?) at ER, Dean Saunders & Martin Foyle were upfront, there were less than 10k there. This was the second division (Championship).

But we have nowhere to move to and no one to sink £30 million plus into building a new ground. It's just a wish list but if you know of someone then I'm all ears.
However staying at VP should not be used as a reason for not being able to get promoted out of league 2 or league 1. Recent experience has proved that.

So, don’t put up season tickets up now.

    Rupp needs to invest money.
New players for next season, attractive football and win promotion
Just what fans want — show us what we can have.

Then put up prices, folks will come for value and entertainment

    Over to you Mr Rupp

Or maybe it’s because as pricing is concerned we are enlightened. Our rivals are all struggling in league one and two in almost empty grounds and are no better off than us financially.

The whole crux of the matter is what is the tipping point? I remember talking to a fan of another club, can't recall which, about season ticket prices. When told £150 he was amazed but also curious as to why they were so much cheaper than everyone else.
