I'm torn Fordy. In the emotional moment of having watched that once again utterly mediocre fayre so much of me wants to agree with you. But I guess looking short term forward, let's wait to see what Adams manages to do in January in terns of bringing in new players. And what difference that makes. Am I optimistic? Usually in life, yes. But for this, it's a shrug and a don't know.

 

Raynor was just going through the motions as well, it was so bloody dull just like the game.
Feels like the club is just slowly drawing to a halt, there is nothing at all to get enthused about. Shame on the lot of you ,you are all failing us massively

Enough is enough #Adamsout the guy couldn’t be anymore anti football if he tried, he is boring, his football is boring and this is the most dis interested I have been in 30 years of watching. The whole football side team, management everything just look like they need a rocket up them. City fans are not hard to appease all we ask is effort average footballers can be forgiven if they look like they are trying unfortunately at the moment we have neither ability or effort.

 

Just feels like the club is being wound down until 2028 when we’ll be a non league club playing at Horsfall Stadium because we can’t afford the rent at VP.

 

That was absolutely diabolical. The first 5 or 10 minutes were promising but we just fizzled out and played hoof ball which never led to anything.

The players showed no desire to win the game. We were taking ages with throw ins and set pieces and the players looked disinterested and they have 100% lost faith in Adams.

 

There must have been 6 or 7k there tonight at a maximum.

 

Don’t know if anyone noticed but after the final whistle a supporter ran on from the Kop and give Angol and Watt a mouthful to their face.

Wish he’d have done that to Adams instead.

Most obvious red you can have saved it with both hands

Lucky lucky boy but who cares he actually did okay apart from the fact he should have cost us the game got red carded and suspended for three games

Not even being sarcastic who does actually care lol

 

The bench mark of all fixtures, the best and most important fixture to turn around our fortunes this season. FAILED. WEAK.

 

Anyone know if Hornby could be subject to a suspension after a review because that was an obvious red card and failure to spot from the referee

 

It was poor. Again. Can’t beat a poor Colchester side that anyone worth their salt will beat. It’s so depressing. Despite all this continually changing our manager over the past few season has made us a basket case club with no long term strategy. This has to stop and we need to give a manager, Adams in this case some time to implement his strategy assuming he has one. Frankly it’s painfully slow plodding football in the main but we have to stick with someone and give them some time to build. The last half a dozen managers have all failed and been fired. That hasn’t worked. Many on here want the same again assuming this will magically make these players improve markedly. I can’t see how. However I’m sick of the lack of entertainment as I assume are half of the Season Ticket holders who didn’t bother to attend tonight and that is dangerous.

That's a good result considering we played with nine men for the majority. Threlkeld and Gilliead are absolutely appaling. Neither of them are anywhere near up to it. We need a whole new right side in January (lol).

Less said about the forwards the better. Pay peanuts, get monkeys, I think is the apt phrase to use here.

This side is certainly one that reflects the manager. Dull, boring, devoid of personality and connection with supporters. It's exactly what Adams is so its no surprise he has his teams playing like it too.

 

Here's some Xg for you...20 minutes good 70 minutes shite and that's against the poorest side seen at VP this season so far......

The City marketing team is doing its best to drum up support for the xmas period offer whereas the footballing team is doing the quite opposite. What a bizarre combination.

Didn't go to this game as couldnt be arsed and now feels like a great decision reading the comments on here.

In fact I don't feel I am missing out at all not wanting to go to any more games this season. Lets face facts the January window is not going to produce these players we can all see we need. Hope I am proved wrong, I really do.
