How did we manage to find so many thick players at the same time?

 

Not even arsed anymore just a bunch of bang average players ....... no cutting edge no nothing only bright spot was Hornby

 

Another example where our second half performance performance has been appalling and a stark contrast versus the first.

Against a decent team i fear we lose that game and cannot understand how the players cannot manage a game and go from starting decent, to looking absolutely clueless, time and time again.

You've nailed it. Overall, we lack quality.

No flair, no inventiveness that creates space or suddenly changes the direction of play. We are too predictable and easy to defend against.

That 'shot' from Lee Angol towards the end of the game was a prime example. Similarly, on the edge of our penalty area the ball came to Gareth Evans, it bounced off him about ten yards. We need better than that at League 2 level.

 

First 15 mins we looked bright and lively and camped in their half, a couple of chances spring to mind that their keeper saved well. After that it was just a bore fest. So no, you missed nothing.

That's a good result considering we played with nine men for the majority. Threlkeld and Gilliead are absolutely appaling. Neither of them are anywhere near up to it. We need a whole new right side in January (lol).

Less said about the forwards the better. Pay peanuts, get monkeys, I think is the apt phrase to use here.

This side is certainly one that reflects the manager. Dull, boring, devoid of personality and connection with supporters. It's exactly what Adams is so its no surprise he has his teams playing like it too.

City’s marketing team have done the best they can with the sows ear that’s on the pitch. Off the pitch there have been many improvements. Backing up commitments stated in the summer. Problem is that’s all well and good but unless the people on the pitch do a better job then you will still have a disenfranchised fan base, due in part to the mismanagement of the club since Parky left. Sparks kops a lot of stick. Some of it warranted and self perpetuated. But he doesn’t kick a ball for a living.

Unfortunately Tallin, this waste of space (Port Vale fans told us how crap he was but our Recruitment Team decided otherwise) signed a 1 year deal in August 2021. Hope some mugs come in for him in January.
Also hope someone comes in the Invisible Man Lavery too.

 

With you on that Tallin. I also think we may be surprised by how many players Adams tries to offload in January. During his time at Ross County he got rid of nine players in a New Year window, then signed six.
