Massively reliant on Cook because the manager is seemingly obsessed with only one central forward being on the pitch until its too late.

That I’d agree with, but if anybody says we didn’t batter them they are cluless. We just need the end product. Vernam should have made it two!

Cook, Vernham, Crankshaw - were you watching the same game?

Cook should have had at least 2.

Anyone who aims to frustrate and are dogged we struggle to create the chances needed to win the Match. Yes we miss some but we are in league two so to be expected some chances will be missed. Just dont fancy us to score at times. We did it against Oldham and got a late winner, did it away at Exeter and again today. Lost to lleyton orient in that mix too.

it’s been a good start but salford next who are rubbish but will aim to frustrate. Can we break them down? Frustrating day

Crankshaw and Vernam missed good chances.

We had at least 4 clear cut / should score chances. It was not a lack of chances that was the issue.

Might do if we had two forwards on instead of Cook fighting by himself.

Erratic finishing and a weak defensive right side.

Real worry the lack of quality options on the bench when we need to change the game like today.

I don't think it was a lack of options really - just in adding two central forwards we removed the width on the left side which was where our threat came from.

Desperately need the right side to be as effective going forward as the left side. Vernam and Ridehalgh seem to play well together. Gilliead and Threlkeld aren't as good.

Three in the centre - either Evans/Watt/Cooke or Gilliead/Watt/Cooke - was overkill and we created very few chances through the centre. Would have been best to take one of them off and switch to 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2 or summat to keep the width on the left. No good having 3 central forward on if we're hoping Crankshaw won't hit the first man or clear the centre/crossbar. He looks really out of form.

Didn't Adam's realise that City is a manager's graveyard before he came?

Feels like we are going over old ground.
We can create 50 chances in a game but you need quality and composure to stick them away.
    We don't have that.

Can't believe he took Vernam off. Him and Ridehalgh together were the only creative threat.

    Frustrating.

In fairness Walsall managed the game well in the second half and defended well, and deserved the point.

A little predictable, failed to mix it up. Two centre half's bossethe repetitive aerial balls.

Terrible defending again for the goal we conceded.

We must be better at the back ,promotion teams win games by single goals and today should have been a example of that.

Walsall fans must have been laughing, honestly.

We complained about T&S being too structured and set in their ways but we saw the same from Adams today. No good saying we had 3 forwards on for the last 5 minutes. How were any of them going to score?

He needed to take off a defender earlier or break away from the two deep midfielders. He was too set in his ways and he'll need to learn quick, we've all seen it before, many teams defend like Walsall with 11 men never mind 10.

Vernham scores the header first half, which he should have done, its a different game. Still dont know how he missed.
Poor defending all round for their goal. Threkald no where near the winger and the guy who scored completely unmarked.
All in all , frustrating is the word.
