You must be one of the lads near me who don’t seem to show up until 30 minutes in then seem to go for a piss 5 minutes later and a pint of Carling. Behave Fordy we could have been 3 or 4 up before they scored with their only shot on target.

 

Too many in midfield today (1 up front?)and no one able to get on the end of stuff, crosses into their box were food and drink and yet we kept doing it all second half.

Evans i am struggling to understand, he is looking slow and past it these days.

wallsall could out muscle us 1 2 1 so we just went wide all second half.

Credit to Wallsall i though they were an awkward side and did a job on us.

Lavery looks weak and off the pace and did nothing.

To be honest we had some great chances 11 v 11 but they were getting a fair bit of the ball , we werent controlling the game despite carving out those
chances, but 2-0 and we would have gone on to win.

I don't think any one could disagree with Adams post match interview/summery very honest, even his comment with regards Sutton, although I cant make out his last comment with regards Sutton, has he been a naughty boy, if so Adams is the wrong manager to mess with.

Always thought Sutton is the type to be a bit naughty. As you say I wouldn’t mess with a fiery Scot.

 

You've got to stop harping out the same nonsense and actually refer to the matches.

Cooke seemed to do very little today. Few passes into space that more pro-active team mates may have run onto. A couple of good corners, a couple of poor ones. If he's to be more effective then he needs to make more forward runs centrally. Vernam was our biggest influence today. Created some good chances and had then worried. Created space for Ridehalgh's crosses as well. We lost our cutting edge when he went off.

 

You only watched the first 6 minutes then.

They started well and from there periodically hung on and occasionally tried to string a few passes together to get forward but they created nothing aside from the goal. O'Donnell hardly did owt all game.

 

Any ideas what he’s done? Seems to always play the clown on twitter etc.

 

As I said couldn't make Adams last comment out but he certainly didn't mince his words when asked about Sutton not being on the bench.

 

Walsall were a better footballing side than us.

Of course we created some chances. Most home teams do? however we were poor on the ball and crossing was dreadful.

We never looked really like breaking them down.

 

Don't talk daft l. We wouldnt even be discussing this if could take the very easy chances we created with some excellent build up play. Let's get real here, they scored from their only effort at goal, then defended for their lives. Had we have taken our chances they would have had to come at us and that's when we're at our best. Very disappointing second half though, Vernam being pulled completely wrong decision. Positives are that we continue to creat decent chances, negatives are we keep missing them.

No they weren't. They weren't a better footballing side. What's your evidence? Aside from the first 6 minutes and the goal they created nothing so how were they a better footballing side? Nonsense comment.

 

Shame Robinson couldn't keep that late shot down, the kid getting 5 minutes and getting the winner the ground would have erupted.
