Where do you even start with that shower? Absolutely appaling from start to finish. As others have said, playing for a point at home with nothing at stake is disgusting.

The Novak for Cook sub did it for me. I knew it was coming but was still amazed when it happened. Vernam put three of four decent crosses into the box but Cook was outnumbered as usual. Clear as day we needed more men in the box, a gamble that a manager with balls would've taken and put two strikers on. Instead we make the trademark T&S striker for striker sub.

Then taking off Vernam, who I thought had his best game tonight, whilst leaving that waste of a shirt Evans on the pitch is a disgrace.

These two haven't got a clue, its obvious. They only know one way and that way will not get us promoted, its as simple as that.

Ryan, please bite the bullet and get shut. We cannot let them oversee another window and then waste another season next season. The fan base is already dwindling and losing interest, we cannot afford to not get promoted next season.

But sitting back, at home, holding out for a draw when we have nothing to lose by going for it is unforgivable. Remember when we used to go to matches and the last ten minutes were all about us attacking the Kop trying to get a win, or pull a draw back. The smell, the atmosphere, the roar when the board goes up for seven minutes injury time ?

That's all I want from my team, passion and fight. If they lose giving that then so be it. We haven't had any of that since Parkinson left, correction, we haven't had it since we let players who wear their heart on their sleeve like Vince, McArdle & Hanson go.

There isn't a player in this team that has got as much passion about getting a positive result as Rory McArdle had in his little toe.

 

Spot on with the timings and that’s why T & S need to go, paint by numbers predictable management that has been found out at professional level.

I had Radio Leeds on after the game for the general chat chat about the game and was shocked that many thought it was a good game to watch.
I accept football is about opinions but there was little positivity I could take from last night's game, it was not an easy watch seeing us create very little going forward and Salford allowing us to play out from the back knowing once they pushed up on our defender the ball would ultimately be played back
to Hornby who would then welly it up field.
No matter how Trueman wants to dress it up it was once again a very poor all round display, they will soon find out that a live audience inside Valley Parade will not tolerate these sortof performances, that is of course if they are still in their present positions.

Talking of sound bytes heard the interview before the game talking about signing the right players again who want to play for the club? How many times have we been told they do interviews with them to make sure they want to sign and don’t just come for a payday? It’s all bollocks. If they are good enough sign them

 

Evening RT. I feel your pain with your son. My son is exactly the same. His interest has all but gone, I'm sure he has taken in 3 games this season, despite a season ticket holder.
I so look forward to quality time around football with my son. Food, travel, chat, stupidness even the moaning!! Those midweek trips to the smoke, getting fleeced as my wallet gets the treatment!! Food on Manningham Lane, talking football and all the other nonsense on matchday at VP.

Tonight, I took in about 40 minutes. Seen better, seen worse. My son, didn’t even know we had played, as he was at college. The reality is he has lost his interest. I started chatting about what I had seen, I feel he had no interest whatsoever.

So, as I have said before, my matchday experience is about my son. Thus a dilemma. I still want to care about this club but I'm fed up of its ineptitude, its excuses, it's lack of any real momentum.

I accept we are gonna be shit more often but since Rupp came, this club has gone backwards. We have volume from Sparks but actions and all that...
We have government restrictions, them fecking passports, social distancing and whatever else to contend with before we even step foot in VP.
I'm too at a crossroads.

Interviews like that ruin credibility. When you have seen a game where we still wouldn’t score when the opposition were on the bus on the way home, and the manager comes out and says it was a close game or we were unlucky not to win. What are they trying to achieve? I’d have far more respect if they came out and said it how it was, don’t have the quality, players didn’t follow my instructions and the lot of them need to shape up or ship out. It makes me think T&S have no clue .

 

People are saying "let them have their own transfer window AND THEN judge them". The problem with that, is if they sign their own players, and then still make bad management decisions (playing the same formation week in week out and still losing, subs only on 70 mins, no plan B etc) and they get the sack, we're left with a team of THEIR players, and we're back to the same old mantra for the new manager. It's potentially never ending.

 

If points were awarded each time the ball went backwards, we'd have won the league by Christmas.

Once again a like for like substitution, that says all we need to know about these two, they have to go, thanks for getting us safe but once we were safe you've shown nothing with regards going forward.

 

Yet another game where we could carry on playing for 10 mins after the opposition has gone back into the dressing room and not score.
