Agree. Paudie has at minimum two occasions to deal with the situation and was beaten on both. Lesson for him and us, but one that cost. Equally responsible are those at the other end in the first half. That said, the first half was apparently good so no point getting over the top. There is a long way left yet.

 

How did Mellor miss both of his chances? The first one looked a sitter...

 

Absolutely criminal, both of them.
The first one looked as if it was a training ground routine with the delivery to the man at the near post area, the flick on and Mellor unmarked in the 6 yard box.

 

There seems to be a pattern to this season post match when we've not won games and that's the excuses that are always given for not having won. Whether it be injuries, an individual error, their keepers amazing saves or whatever. This maybe all true but all the time? Seems to me that we have more than our fair share of bad luck here at city. This is a poor league and we should be doing better imho.

 

He's been poor all season.. it was no shock and he's not a wing back.
