Oh you delusional person and guess what they did score because our manager is useless.

 

It simply isn’t good enough. Poor game management again, if we can’t finish off what are pretty poor sides then we don’t deserve to go up.

 

I agree it was poor game management.

It should also be noted the initial set up was excellent.

Very frustrating all things considered.

 

AOC was our best defender again today and has been all season, never thought I’d say that.

Paudie / BRE both capable but also both very capable of a howler every game

not sure what’s happen to Wood, poor the last few weeks

 

See @Bronco and some others need to start understanding the game. Bashing on that last weeks point was ok as it's away blah blah blah and saying as long as we win our home matches.

Well facts are 2 points from 6! 2 points against extremely poor sides that we should be beating.

Bowyer doesn't know how to get the best out of his attacking players. It's painful!

Starting to doubt we will go up under him as he's too negative.

Very frustrating watching City lately. We have the squad to do so much better.
Can't remember the last time i watched a game without one single booking!

 

If he was ill having him on the bench was mismanagement. Shay’s pace almost won is s penalty. He should have been on earlier. Not a good day for our manager.

 

Bowyer didn't lose us the game today or his substitutions, by the time we conceded there was little we could do, the game should have been over long before subs were required.
How was he defending a 1 - 0 lead they were the same 11 that we had in the first half when we looked in complete control, if he was defending a 1 - 0 lead he would have brought the likes of French, Palmer, Anderson on after 70 minutes.

 

All the more frustrating when we did everything but score in the first half. Salford should never have been in the game but our inability to take our chances cost us dear. Very poor especailly against such a poor side.

 

Sounds like the norovirus has struck the club. Its doing the rounds in Bradord and surrounding areas right now.

 

Come on Bronco, as soon as we scored we sat back and invited pressure instead of building on the lead.

 

He’s not but that doesn’t explain basic passes going astray

 

I though with the players available Bowyer got it about right the first half was a pleasure to watch certainly with some of the dross served up recently, I don't think the attacking side of our game lacked anything today except someone who could finish.
We didn't dominate the second half as we did the first unfortunately at 1 - 0 the opposition have nothing to lose by throwing men forward there were certainly more of a threat going forward although they offered little in way of a goal threat until Paudies Beckenbauer moment.
The game was won and we gave it away because we didn't do the basics when required, and unfortunately after seeing today s other results apart from Crewe who we both agree have been the best side we've see against us this season the others results went for us.

 

We'll have to agree to disagree, we had more chances on goal even in the second half than Salford, if Bowyer had brought the likes of Anderson, Palmer or French on when we went 1 - 0 up there would be no disagreement but we always looked like the side that would get another goal second half.

 

The final whistle blows and the teams go back to the changing rooms. High fives all round in the Salford room. City players looking at their boots in ours. We need to do better.

 

Come on Fordy when you going to provide that recite, your credibility (if you had any) is slowly going down the plug, man up and show us all you paid the bet....................oh yes you still talk a load of bollocks.

Baffling to see us keep playing 5 at the back.
There's absolutely no reason for it. We were fighting at the top of the table before changing to it.


Oteh and mellor were garbage today. About time mccartan got a chance.
Reeves was great but goes backwards wayyy to much. As soon as we scored every single person became terrified of passing forwards.

Was blatantly obvious we needed a change. Oteh and Cooke were doing nothing.

 

Would that be the same Mellor that had the jinking run that set up our goal then? Just asking...

 

I;m not sure that formation was 5 at the back.
It looked very much to me 3 central defenders with Mellor and Wood wing backs, Pritchard Reeves and Cooke in midfield with Otech and Connolly the two front men
