This was at the weekend after their win at Salford. The local paper doesn't look to have published a new report since, so not sure what the latest is. https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/forest-green-rovers-produce-comeback-6105995

"The only concern to arise from the afternoon was an injury to Jordan Moore-Taylor’s quad, which forced him off after 53 minutes, although after receiving a scan on his knee on Thursday, fellow centre-back Dan Sweeney is set to miss around three weeks of action, which is “good news” according to Edwards, with fears that it may have been more severe."

The 21 year old Udoka Godwin-Malife came on for Moore-Taylor in that game. He has only played 307 minutes of football so far this season. Only 5'11 too, so might be able to get Cook to push him around a bit. Baily Cargill came in for Sweeney after he was injured the week before. Cargill has made 6 starts this season so far.

Nothing to be found on their fitness since. Even the Twitter hashtag is a ghost town, there's been two fan tweets since last Saturdays win at Salford, one collecting his train tickets to Bradford, other mentioning a kids birthday party........ crime against the sport if this tinpot team actually goes up.

I remember them beating us 1-0 at VP a couple of years ago with a 90th minute goal.

So basic too - a simple cross that no one stopped, a header right in front of goal, ROD flapping. Frustrating wasn’t the word.

My mechanic is called Rod. He's a far better mechanic than ROD is at goalkeeping though.

To be fair, the population of Nailsworth is only about 5000, so they are never going to get big followings.

He was hopeless in the game at Forest green last season when we drew 2-2. Let in a long free kick from the touch line by Eliot Watt, and wasn’t too clever with the first goal by Lee Novak

I forsee another Gretna/ Rushden scenario here, where a tinpot club gets bank rolled by a rich boy and sink into oblivion when he gets bored of his toy (although to be fair to gretna I think it was illness that caused their sugar daddy to go).

Yes this was the home game against them before last. Hornsea posted about it as well.

Worst attitude towards a football match I have ever seen by a professional team, particularly their goalie who enjoyed slowly wandering around his half on numerous occasions with the ball under his arm wanting a "word" with the ref or linesman (whoever was furthest away) as he had forgotten whether it was a goal or free kick. It worked a treat though, riled us up something rotten for 90+ mins, and they then scored on the counter.

Appreciate game management, but hope I never see that again.

Mmm, apart from the three goals we scored away from home last Saturday, two from strikers back from injury.

We scored 4 at Stevenage and then 3 at Mansfield before embarking on a very poor run of form with multiple blanks in front of goal...

I'd love to see Robinson and Lavery bang in double figures now they're fully fit, but you know... it might not work out like that ;)

Meanwhile, back to the game tomorrow, I predict a narrow win.
