Have you ever come from behind? It's very satisfying.

He'd been dead legged a couple of minutes before that chance and was limping when he came off at half time.

Get your point Faithful, but he was a terrible referee.

Adams showed his reluctance to chase 3 points today. Could have taken the game to them with Vernam but chose to sit on the draw. He’s paid to manage the team. Only in time will it tell if that’s a good point or an opportunity lost. As for FGR. Good footballing side. Both wing backs a handful. Stevenson in midfield has played higher and was decent. However they are still the worst side I’ve seen for dark arts. Call it cheating. Diving all over the place. City matched them second half probably under instruction as the ref was so weak. They’ve been the same every time I’ve seen them. Vegan moral high ground? Football moral low ground. If they play like that they will go close to winning it. Sadly cheating along their way to the title.

Didn’t think it would take long for refs to go back to blowing for any contact at all.
The early season games were so refreshing with the new directives to let a lot of minimal contact fouls go unpunished. The players soon got up when they knew refs were just waving play on.
Either todays didn’t read the directives or just chose to ignore them.

From what I saw, there were two challenges from their lot that could have been straight reds rather than yellows. But the ref ain't to blame for a lack of 3 points today.

Easy to blame the ref today but as others have touched on, too many of our own failings have cost us the three points.

The formation, 5-1-2-2, no width at all, just allowed their full backs and wingers acres of the space to come at us. If songo'o is dropping into a back five then we simply shouldn't be playing Watt aswell just in front.

Again, on the formation, having no Wide man (namely vernam) meant there was no out ball for us, it was just a hoof that generally came straight back.

Can complain all day about our finishing, God knows how many times it's been spoken about but until we get someone to put away these chances, then we won't put games to bed.

Why didn't we foul that lad who ran 60 yards to score, regardless of the fact we should have had two free kicks before he got the ball.

are we the world's daftest team with the stupid fouls on opposition full backs? Chasing teams into corners, I'm forever saying don't foul him, don't foul him, and someone, usually Sutton or Gillead, puts hands on them given them an invitation to go down. Learn lessons, the ref was giving them types of free kicks all day, don't give them/him the chance, just don't touch them It ain't rocket science.

And finally can we (fans) stop coming out after every game and saying "they weren't even that good". Until we start bearing teams that arent "that good" it doesn't exactly show us in a good light. Last 4 home games people have remarked on differing scales from total shite, shit, awful and not very good on barrow, Bristol, Hartlepool and forest green yet we have beaten none of them

That's the thing with Sutton. He gets a sniff and is prepared to back himself. Gilly and Calum cook have far superior ball control yet when they get into similar positions they sh#t themselves, turn back and look for a pass. They are scared of taking the responsibility when they should be forcing the defender to make a tackle or bring them down

No one looking at Paudies role in the goal we conceded?

Yes the ref was poor but we must defend better than that and Paudie jumping in from 8 yards away like an over weight seasoned Bradford Sunday Alliance player left us overloaded and created the issue. Just stay on your feet and defend it properly and I don't think we conceded.

Same as last week at Swindon. Very good for the majority of the game but then does something completely stupid and costs us a goal.

If those mistakes had come from certain other players this forum would have seen the traffic crash the servers.

Exactly. We let AOC go and never really replaced him. Priority in January must be to bring in a quality scapegoat.

Sorry pal, I thought Robinson was largely anonymous today. I'd have taken him back off again and thrown Vernam on at 75 minutes.

The new scapegoat. Second half Foulds crossed and Robinson doesn't even try to head the ball. WTF is that all about.

Thought it was quite a disciplined performance today we pretty much forced FGR to blank. Bitterly disappointed with the refs performance today if they do their job o one talks about them however you play to the whistle and we should have stopped them.

If I'm honest I didn't see much from them to suggest they are the best team in the league but by crickey they aren't afraid to cheat

He's actually not that good, NM. Without a strong partner alongside him he's very hit an miss, some good games, some poor games, often loses his head and is overly aggressive. No problem with him leaving for me. I'm sure we'll find an able enough replacement.

Then that are above us are better than us. Simple really.

A team doesn't get to the top of the league after 15 games by being lucky every match.

That miss from Cook was one of the worst I’ve ever seen by a Bradford City striker. That includes everyone from over the years. More recently, it’s eclipsed those couple from CD. You could hear the silence around the ground. Then the thoughts ticking over wondering if it was offside or not. Forget the refs and our bad defending. If that goal had gone in (and I watched a similar goal a few hours earlier from Smith Rowe. Side foot Andy. SIDE FOOT!) we would have won that game.

Yet there only real attempt on goal came from us not playing to the whistle I thought whilst they had a lot of the ball we always looked comfortable the loss of Lavery was a blow because he was looking promising and we badly lack a second striker but I thought it was a decent point agains a good (for this level) side

Made exactly the same comment to the grandson after the first 10 or so minutes Mr Edwards must have missed the briefing, as you say it was getting a pleasure watching the referees gesture to players trying to con them to get up.
