Didnt hear many fans being positive until things changed with Ryan getting the CEO job promoting T&S and the great run they have taken us on, of course we all want the best for our club, unfortunately its not as if our destiny is in our own hands we have to rely on other clubs failing and us to keep winning, are T& S negative as they have been quite clear with their comments with regards a play off position but I'm sure what they say to Radio Leeds is not what they say to the players after a result like yesterday.

 

Vaughan will be back by then I would have thought and Cheltenham are the best TEAM in this league.

Just because we have beaten them already means nothing. Both would beat us over two legs. It's Cambridge we want.

 

I agree because although I don't think the football player in this league is as bad as some people make out to me there are no real standout teams apart from maybe Bolton Wanderers (since January). I rated Cheltenham the best footballing side over the last two seasons, and we've beaten them. I think Bolton, Cheltenham and probably Camebridge will be the top three so nobody to fear really. Having said that, with our had start I think it's going to be a step too far, even with City's history.
Having said that Kiwomya, Shutt and Stallard for Donaldson, Cook and Rowe. Which would you prefer? Just saying.

T and S have done what you’d expect any manager to say, first get to 50 points then reassess. Interestingly Parker talked about a new secret target which I’m guessing is the playoffs. However they haven’t been talking about playing league 2 teams next season, thankfully. The only time I’ve heard one of them be negative was after a draw, think it was against Oldham where they said we went out not to lose which was very disappointing.

 

Wonder if Novak could do a similar role to what Donaldson is doing? It's been that long since he played I can't really remember what he's good at.

 

Sticks and Kiwomya are still knocking about the place, best days behind them though.

 

Agree when F&S took over 50+ points had to be our first target and the majority of fans would have been delighted with a mid table finish but they and the players have performed better than anyone expected which then put us in with a chance of a play off place.
I would not expect either Mark or Connor saying to the media we can still get a play off place, why would they want to put unnecessary pressure on our squad, but I would think they are saying differently to the players at training and match days.
Unfortunatly our mini bad patch has left us with even more to do to make it into a play off place, we need to keep getting results because there will be at least one team that start to stutter with regards their form, and we need to be in a position to take any help we can get to make 7th or above.

 

What's sad is Novak returning from injury when Stuart went was part of the reason our performances improved for the better, not suggesting T&S going back to basics wasnt a major factor too but he was our best option with regards getting goals, just a shame he picked another long term injury up that has see him out for the last few of months.

Poor manager is why I think he has his teams rolling about rather than trying to coach them to play football.

 

I thought they looked a better side, and played better football yesterday than when we played them last season.
