its match day and despite our little wobble, where we did not play well and lots of things went against us. I have actually got a buzz for the match. You would have thought that after 45 years watching City , you would grow out of it. Once your hooked its your team , your drug, come on City give us all something to be proud of this easter break.
Happy easter to all my fellow bantams, lets hope we can all be back in the ground , cheering the team to sucess next season.

What an appalling pass from Clarke when he wasn't under any pressure!

Great result today. I think FGR were wobbling a bit before today but, if you read their message board (as JonButterfield commented earlier), you've sent them into meltdown. Can't work out what I think of the whole set up there. Their manager is a tool but there are other things about them I quite like. Apart from veganism of course.

So, over the last fortnight, we've beaten FGR and Morecambe. We've got 8 games left and play Tranmere, Newport, Exeter and Leyton Orient. Really hope we can contribute to you winning a place in the play offs. How about two Cambridge - Bradford City fixtures when we're both in League 1....when fans can attend. Sending the love again, Sean

The moany show ponies hate it when they're wrong and therefore do the old magician's deception trick of deflecting you away from what's there in front of your face. To wit, we beat a top seven team 4-1, are three points off the play offs...but BUT! It's a shit league, so this victory doesn't really matter. Well I'm sorry, but for me it does.

This league is NO different to what it is every year it’s the lowest level in the football league. Today’s match was slightly better than the usually find at this level forest green for all their gamesmanship tried to play football and when we high pressed we looked good.
Most matches at this level are slug it out affairs and it’s the team that comes out on top most times get the success. We have played better than today and not won at Newport for instance

Poor in spells, really good in spells, overall worth the win.

Our learning and improvement curve needs to embrace the fact that we're a much better side when we're on the front foot, pressing higher and not sitting off.

What a result and very decent performance.

I’ve given O’Donnell some deserved criticism recently but his double save was absolutely superb at what could have really let them back in the game.

Andy Cook MoM for me, but there were some really good performances in there also. Donaldson, Evans, Watts, AOC, Wood and Canavan were very good. TBH, can’t falter any of them today.

Didn’t look so assured after the subs but nothing to overthink. Rowes finish for the final goal was class. His footwork is very good and the finish was neat.

T&S - bravo for a very well prepared and executed performance against a decent side.

In fariness, I think any of the 3 shouts could have been given (the Donaldson one was a stonewaller for me...)

Not that I'm complaining... 1) we've had plenty go the other way over the years 2) Screw Forest Green when it comes to poor decisions given their very, very poor sportsmanship in previous encounters - They got what they deserved... the square root of nowt!

I tell you what feels nice after today’s game...........we really feel like the Bradford City I know and love. However this season ends it’s just so good to feel some life and excitement within the club again.

Yes, on replay it was a clear air shot. That's about three blatant dives in the box. About time the ref booked one of them for simulation.

Fordy, we've won 4-1 today and are three points off the play offs. Why do you continue to hate the club you claim to love? All you ever give us is hatred towards any result on the pitch, any development off the turf. Your negativity is continually utterly toxic. Nothing the club does is ever good enough, according to your stratospherically high standards. There is no sense or acceptance of reality about your comments in your (mis)understanding of the current situation of where City are as a Lg 2 club or the progress they've made during the last few months on and off the pitch. I'm sure you enjoy your self-designated role as Mr Nasty/Agent Provacacteur, but there will be many City fans who would love for you to just give it a rest. It's really depressing. You spread misery, never ever joy. And in the world we're all living in right now, a little more joy would;d be very acceptable.

Hope everyone's well. This lot were really underwhelming when we played them at our place a couple of weeks ago. We ended up winning 1-0 but Mullin also missed a penalty and a third goal wouldn't have surprised. They'll also be smarting from their loss of Matt at last Saturday's game. They played a 3-4-1-2 with Cargill (on left of the defensive 3) looking vulnerable. Collins (the 1 in the midfield ) looked good. If you get a chance try to see Hoolahan's goal against them. It comes down their right and shows all you need to know about their weaknesses....a spark of creativity and I reckon you'll win.

BTW Cooper being generous and noble as always said of Hoolahan's goal that if he himself was playing and he only had one leg he'd have made sure Hoolahan didn't get passed him...charming as always!

Yeah I'll be watching out for it for sure. I'm still memory blind from that God awful game at VP where Bowyer thought it was a really smart idea to keep letting their keeper advance to the halfway line.

The most tedious football game I can remember.

Let's hope we don't fall for their crap and concede those free kicks, as you say.

Feels like there are more surprising results this year though. More teams losing to lower teams. Today was a more extreme example but there'll be more surprises over the coming weeks I reckon.

It's good were playing teams around us in the coming weeks. It will be a good barometer of progress.

For me, another tick for T&S - what happens when we lose? We bounced back. Poor run of results? Now two wins in a row. Well done T&S. Keep at it.

Someone start a Mansfield Town appreciation thread.

It was only last season that nobody before in the history of football and/or conceivably in the future of the sport would ever LOAN OUT a goalscoring striker to a team in the SAME DIVISION!!

But it only took 12 months for us to find another sucker for ourselves
