Big test this one, we win this (and a few others) it’ll show we are worthy of being in the play offs! Do think one more loss will put us out of sight though.
    Need to play Donaldson again!

This will be a physical test they will have watched our last game and will be all over Donaldson like a rash. Discipline will be important against their usual gamesmanship

Adams their player that fell over and got Paudie sent off was injured before the defeat against Bolton.
If he is fit the O'Connors will need to be wary because we know what to expect from a Mark Cooper managed team.

    Are they physical?

I had them down for their poor gamesmanship, but you might be right about them giving it out better than they take it I suppose.

Either way, I have a funny feeling that we could be playing them and their nonsense at a good time. They don't need to level the playing field, they aren't the poorer side, and I'm not sure they actually have the quality needed to beat us.

No, I feel the vast majority knew of the game but have given up on another failure of a season.

I think they were quite physical last time Jon. One of those horrible sides that pushed and pulls you all over then as soon as you breathe on them they're rolling all over the pitch trying to win set pieces.

That's not a good mix either given we tend to give needless free kicks away and also concede plenty from them.

I hate managers like Cooper. Football is a results based business , but there are right and wrong ways to win and the antics of his teams , just annoy me. Football is about entertainment not spoiling tatics. I hope for once we give them a good going over.

Hope everyone's well. This lot were really underwhelming when we played them at our place a couple of weeks ago. We ended up winning 1-0 but Mullin also missed a penalty and a third goal wouldn't have surprised. They'll also be smarting from their loss of Matt at last Saturday's game. They played a 3-4-1-2 with Cargill (on left of the defensive 3) looking vulnerable. Collins (the 1 in the midfield ) looked good. If you get a chance try to see Hoolahan's goal against them. It comes down their right and shows all you need to know about their weaknesses....a spark of creativity and I reckon you'll win.

BTW Cooper being generous and noble as always said of Hoolahan's goal that if he himself was playing and he only had one leg he'd have made sure Hoolahan didn't get passed him...charming as always!

Well Cambridge Sean. Your last statement sums the man up perfectly. Good luck for the rest of the season, you have been up there all year and deserve promotion. Lets hope we can join you in league one next year

Yeah I'll be watching out for it for sure. I'm still memory blind from that God awful game at VP where Bowyer thought it was a really smart idea to keep letting their keeper advance to the halfway line.

The most tedious football game I can remember.

Let's hope we don't fall for their crap and concede those free kicks, as you say.

Well......my resounding memory of FGR at home last season before COVID (yes 2019) was as a bunch of cheating so and so's. Sure you all remember it well.

Just as one example, out of their whole eleven who were set up similarly, their goalie walked repeatedly behind the ref, sometimes right up to the centre circle, with ball under his arm scratching his head and asking he where should kick it from for a goal kick, promptly being sent back, walking as slowly as possible and subsequently wasting at least 10 mins out of 90. The ref did not how to manage, and to be honest neither did City and lost composure due to frustration. In the end we lost after a couple ruled out for us, a red for them shortly followed by a counter and goal in the last second of eight mins of extra time, if I remember correctly.

Still has not got them out of league two, yet.

We need to return stay solid and return the hurt.

If they tried to play a decent level of football instead of those falling over antics I think there would be quite a few that would actually wish them well. In other ways, off the field, they seem to be going about things in a good way.

No steak pie? It's a nonsense of a football club and should be banned from competition immediately! There's no amount of grass on gods earth that can soak up the same amount of ale as a decent meat pie.
