It was from Sparks and obviously what all fans want, but the cynic in me says it was a slogan to sell season tickets no more. Can anyone say this team is good enough? What about if we went up, just how many of the players are good enough? Not many.

We had Lavery or Robinson for that (I know) but it's becoming obvious as with any other player he didn't sign them so they don't play
Our plan looked to be to defend the 2-1 lead would have made more sense to bring Canavan on at the back and push a very tired Songo into his more natural position
Tactically naive from Mr Adams (or Stubborn) take your pick but he cost us 2 points yesterday
Hope those players who were absolutely done in after 70 mins today enjoy the extra training maybe some of them could tell Mr Adams where he went wrong instead

The loss of the 2 points we should have had is purely down to bad management, After half time they pushed forward in to midfield and had more energy, Everyone except the manager saw the game turning and the panic in the team in the last ten minutes where we needed to boost the midfield, Watt came off injured and he brought young Scales on which was a poor decision when he should have brought Canavan on at the back and pushed Songo in to midfield to try regain control, The other thing that annoys me is Adams claiming it was a wonder header from Pittman for the equalizer that no keeper could stop when in fact.it was poor positioning from the keeper who was caught off his line and left stranded by a good header but stoppable had he been on his line,
There is a long way to go yet but Adams needs to up his game management and his performance as at the moment it is not good enough,
In the end we were lucky not to lose in the last minute

As I stated earlier in the thread, I'm using football (particularly away games) for the social aspect, enjoying the crack with friends and my son.

Being honest, if we win great. If not, so be it. I love the club but it's not the be all anymore.

I've become accustomed to being let down by this club. That's the only thing they can guarantee over the season, especially with Rupp at the helm.

You know I am the same. There were two lads behind me going apoplectic at the final whistle literally foaming at the mouth booing and throwing general abuse at the players. I just chuckled to myself.

We could all see that they were going to score at least an equaliser. I hoped they wouldn't but they did.

Went home and had something to eat. Didn't even mention the game to the missus.

I really want the club to do well, I really do, but sadly days like yesterday are becoming all too often. It's not as easy as it used to be to get excited on home match days anymore. And then we have to endure Andy Kiwomya talking utter bollocks on the way home.

Unsure about DA right now after yesterdays badly handled tactics late on. Even going 5 at the back to make a good fist of defending our lead would not have meant much more pressure as our midfield and attack was non existent at that point and they were already attacking at will.

Get a grip mate, we all want the club to do well but that’s way ott. We are one big dysfunctional family on here and if you feel like that I feel like you could be missing something from your life, I hope you find it mate there’s more to life than football.

It needed fresh legs to press up on very limited league 2 defenders, I'd expect both Lavery and Robinson to be able to follow that instruction. Instead we go with tactics that would have seen us lose if the game had carried on another 5 or 10 minutes.

Moment of the match for me was the 1on1 Songo’o the last man facing oncoming Rovers player. CRUNCH! Won it clean as a whistle, took the gashead 10 minutes to find his leg. A proper tackle.

No. Our mid table position is solely down to RO'D being inept according to the resident experts on here. Didn't you know he's let in more goals than the rest of the team combined? ;)

I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow something tells me we're going to win by a couple of goals I'm going 3-0

Rovers have won 2 of their last 3 league games though and smashed Carlisle 3-0 so maybe they're turning their season round

I just have a feeling because I really like the idea of Vernam running at either Junior Brown or the kid they've been playing at full back

Whelan and Coutts will be a tough test for our midfield but if we set up right we should be getting Gilliead and Vernam on the ball as often as possible and blitzing them down the sides I really think we can do a number on them]

    Oh by the way

    Vernam lad

    BRING YOUR SHOOTING BOOTS LOL

Would play Robinson in to replace Gilliad to give more support for Cook and put pressure on their defence especially if they play 3 at the back as rumored

The thing that irks me about Evans is his ability to cause all the trouble and then act all innocent and hide behind his little puppet Raynor.
At least if Barton causes it,he doesn’t hide behind anyone.

Still absolutely detest both of them though.

I’m going to say that the Bristol Rovers performance is the worst I’ve seen. Absolutely awful.

Back to that same problem of lack of leadership in the middle of the pitch again.

While they had experience and pushed them on ours fizzled out, ran out of steam and ended with a whimper.

    Same as last few years.
