Appreciate I’m probably in a minority on this one but the commentary is biased, irritating, unbelievably non informative on the opposition.
So why are people saying Rayner’s ok??
He’s the COMMENTATOR!! He’s the professional who has all week to prepare, check the opposition stats, look at how they play etc, he’s the one responsible for the commentary!! AK is only on board to give his thoughts when prompted. Oh and squeal like a girl when we have a shot!!

 

Couldn't agree more.
Our match day commentary team are woeful.
Their knowledge of the opposing team in general is none discript.
If you want to know what to wear in winter or eat at half time then there the people to contact without a doubt.
Radio Leeds need to take a long hard look at the dynamic duo,that said Batman and Robin would probably do a better job.

 

Jamie Raynor sounds decent, compared to AK (who is dire) but he's really not very good either. Good interviewer, but no great shakes as a commentator. The Cambridge and Southend guys really showed our pair up, big time - better researched, more insightful, balanced commentary and analysis.
Small mercies - someone seems to have had a word and explained to JR that 'header' is a noun, not a verb.

This lot are getting dicked. Same line up as before, there is no debate.

 

Just looking at league table after last nights match, amazed to see Scunny only 6 points off the play offs now. I had them down as certs for relegation a few weeks ago. Just goes to show how a bit of form shoots you up this poor league

 

A lot of the teams that were previously flying have struggled recently which has certainly helped. Newport have taken 4 points from their last 6 games. Exeter 6 from 6, Cheltenham 7 from 6, Salford 8 from 6 etc etc whilst previous strugglers such as ourselves and Mansfield have earnt over 2 points per game during the same period. Tranmere and Crawley have also put together a run out of nowhere. Just shows how poor and unpredictable this league is. Do the basics properly and you have half a chance.

Wouldn't want to be a Barrow fan listening to this commentary, it's hardly impartial.

 

Not always convincing, but we dug it out and sometimes you have to do that.

 

That is definitely one we would have lost earlier in the season

Hard fought victory but it's about time we dug deep for results and got the rewards.

 

Tough game today. They were quite physical . Quigley a right hand full. Was not pretty but a win is a win. 3 games in 7 days and 7 points , ill take that. Finn Cousin was superb, we have some graet young players who will only get better the more games they play.

 

Wins a win but I'm slightly concerned that we're sitting on one goal leads. Did it on Tuesday and twice today but got away with it because both Barrow and Southend are useless going forwards. Hopefully just a case of tired legs.

 

Is this the same footballing brain that had Josh Wright as his best player?

 

I wouldn’t say Barrow were useless going forward Quigley one of the best we have seen and Kay did ok as well
