Well if Harrogate didn’t impose any restrictions on ticket sales, what kind of people do you think might rock up in home areas.
I can tell you it won’t be the law abiding civilised part of our fanbase. Jeez

Clubs can decide their own away allocations as long as it meets the criteria set out by the EFL.

What I would question here from Harrogate is they raised prices across the board and justified that by saying they have to maximise income due to their limited capacity. If you are telling your own fans you have to charge them more, but at the same time refuse to turnover the rest of the terrace pitchside to Bradford and a few others (Donny, Hartlepool, Grimsby, etc) who would sell it out and still have ample capacity for your own fans then you do have to ask questions as to why you are being hit with higher prices when they are happy to turn hundreds of people away.

Which brings me back to point No1, they are being leaned on by the old bill for absolutely no reason what so ever which is why our game kicks off at 1pm.

At Accrington Stanley the model is to get as many away fans into the ground and pre match activities as possible, and to be honest it's always a joy to visit.

Ok so at the moment away
allocations are absolutely dire at some grounds 600 +
I personally hate the ticket lottery
We have a really strong hardcore who travel away but as it stands I would sooner take a chance on 2,000 + in the future than what's on offer at the moment.

They will literally be no trouble, we aren't going to Millwall ffs. I doubt many fancy a ruck at Harrogate before tea and cakes at bettys to round off the day.

You seem to know a lot about City fans going into away ends but didn’t know it’s happened lots of times at VP. Righty Ho.

When Harrogate scored their second goal last season against us about 400 "home fans" walked out.

    No trouble.

Some of our ‘fans’ could cause a riot in an empty stadium.
I refer to games at Orient, Oldham and Hartlepool last season to name a few.
And that’s in the away stand. Imagine if that was in the home areas.
Some people talk wet on here.

I’m not saying that away fans might not sometimes covertly enter home areas but some on here are suggesting that our masses could and should be able to turn up at Harrogate unrestricted and somehow there wouldn’t be any trouble.

Was there any trouble last year even though the home stands were bustling? I saw hundreds of "home fans" walk out when they went two nil up. Infact the only trouble I saw was one moron who was so drunk he was an embarassment to the child he was supposed to be looking after in the away end.

They all know I'm a bradford fan, when they were in the lower leagues I used to go watch them wearing my city top. I was in the empress pub with the town fans before and after the game, I walked down with them amd met about 20 city fans on my way down and I'll be doing the sane at this game , there was abit of trouble in the pub when some mouthy leeds fans turned up But that was it.
I'm from harrogate, they offered me a place on the coach for our home match but I declined.

I think it is grammatically incorrect to have Harrogate in a sentence unless it has been firmly preceded by the term ‘it’s not cheap’.;)

Haven’t been to it for ages but isn’t the ‘Winter Gardens’ Spoons relatively cheap?

Always preferred the Old Bell, Coach & Horses, Tap on Tower Street (Tap & Spile) etc.

With an estimated wealth of £145million Irving Weaver wont be worrying about accommodating a few hundred more Bradford City fans, who knows maybe the club have been told by the police they don't accommodate over the normal 700. away fans.
