If that's true , half the stadium was empty. Surely they could have made room for a few more away fans. especially as a one of.

Hope Chapman was watching that run and ball from Angol. We need him to do that.

 

As i've said previous regarding Chapman he's a wide player doing us a job at 10 while Walker is out. Angol comes in and always does great without doubt. What a great problem to have, when Walker is back I think we will be a different side with Chapman then pushing the wide players for a start.

Often most of Chapman's best work is when he's attacking a full back in and around the box, as with the Harrogate penalty, so he should be pushing for a wider role.

And Angol playing in the 10 role means we can mix it up and play more direct at times when teams are pressing us, without compromising Cook's position and goals. Teams will then be discouraged from pressing us as much, as we've more bodies up top, meaning our defense and midfield can start playing out from the back again. And Angol has the football brain and ability to drop deeper and link play up.

Hopefully this variety of play would see us start dominating games.

It was, but I'm with Kevin. Sutton was hopeless when he came on and couldn't even control the ball at times. That said, I'm not sure why Hughes plays him out wide because he looks completely lost out there.

 

Not sure , I did look at that, but an assist to an assist will do for me if so.

 

I don't think it that's fair. I'd expect anyone who understands football to see a players strengths and weaknesses. Sutton has energy and pace which can lead to moments of unpredictable magic. But he ain't good enough to hold a regular place in a team going for promotion. He doesn't have the passing range or positional discipline.

 

I believe Betty's has a bigger away capacity that Harrogate Town

Yep. You can buy tickets without a membership number for all the other Harrogate home games but the Bradford one you have to buy a 6 game flexi pass? And even for that you have to be a member.

 

Oh so we did accommodate them then unlike Harrogate are doing hence why people are talking about going in a half empty home end?

Plus non of them are in this division, if we were in the same league as Leeds there wouldn’t be a single seat available for away fans. Don’t talk nonsense.

Interest will wane, but I do think there will be a few National League grounds where we test the capacity.

 

I was in the home end last season, there was a fair few of is in the home end no trouble at all

They all know I'm a bradford fan, when they were in the lower leagues I used to go watch them wearing my city top. I was in the empress pub with the town fans before and after the game, I walked down with them amd met about 20 city fans on my way down and I'll be doing the sane at this game , there was abit of trouble in the pub when some mouthy leeds fans turned up But that was it.
I'm from harrogate, they offered me a place on the coach for our home match but I declined.
