Ah ok, I stand corrected in that case, I presumed their loan suggested they weren’t prepared to let him go and that he had longer left there.

I never mentioned Sutton :joy:. But obviously Hughes rates him more than you do. He is his go to sub around the 60 minute mark....every match. His pass to Angol in the build up to the goal wasn't aimless.

By the way the facilities were good at Harrogate. The Toilets were tiled. Well lit with lots of basins with dryers and sanitizers. Also so clean and heated with hot water on tap and looked like the Savoy compared to City. Even had a check record on the door signed every hour like supermarket loos do. For a supposed tinpot club they put City to shame in fan comfort

With respect to Wright, he's a solid player but if you are 21 at a premier league club and being loaned out for the 4th time to a league 2 club then chances are its time to look at establishing your career elsewhere.
If we go up and he stars then there is every chance we will sign him permanently.

I know , the rest were poor, control was poor too, if you watch the full 30 he was on. He came on and did a job in disrupting play in front of the “2” . Thats how I see his role? If only he could pass accurately more than once or twice in 30mins.? Not a difficult ask is it?.

Easy to do , when you have 10 fans , that have been in Betty's tea room before the game and your toilets are in the house behind the stand.

I suppose it’s easier to cater for one man and his dog. But still, we’ve a lot to get right on the hygiene front.

Wembley cater for 90.000 but still manage modern. Clean facilities. It's a matter of mind and priorities rather than numbers

It's funny isn't it. You and I have these discussions on a regular basis. I honestly think that once you have made your mind up on a player, and I mean most people not just you :) , you get blinkered. If you don't rate a player, you only ever see his mistakes and are blinkered to any positives. Likewise if you rate a player highly you focus on his good play and ignore the rest. I think we are all guilty of it..................but you especially as far as our right backs and Sutton are concerned :grinning:

My post was tongue in cheek.
Can't really compare us with Wembley, at about £15 for a pint and a pie they can afford to keep the toilets tip top.

Nothing wrong with Sutton, he comes on and brings energy, just as the opposition players are trying.
Come on the last two games and we have picked up 3 points.

Absolutely, it’s all about opinions. Yes one watches closely just to confirm and , or, re-emphasise if your suspicions are accurate. Two fans will never agree when one looks at a 24 man squad , never in a million years. That’s what makes the forum.

I don't think it that's fair. I'd expect anyone who understands football to see a players strengths and weaknesses. Sutton has energy and pace which can lead to moments of unpredictable magic. But he ain't good enough to hold a regular place in a team going for promotion. He doesn't have the passing range or positional discipline.

Couldn't agree more RT. How many poor sides has Sutton been in throughout his stay with us and never been able to nail down a place in any of them. Great attitude and covers the ground well, but won't get you a goal or create a chance. Very limited footballer but his legs will be useful off the bench late on in games.
