Wasn't there another indecent quite recently STAGED in another hospital with a member of the general public questioning Boris, it later turned out he's an active member of the Labour party, that was bad enough but that stunt was a disgrace yesterday, just shows the level politics has stooped.

Maybe that's where the whole problem lies in that it's being made more acceptable because instead of racism being tackled instantly and at the source, those in power are happy to sling mud and say vote for us because we're a little bit less racist than them and using excuses like Brexit to deflect from their inability to get their own house in order.Hoochy-Min likes this. -

It's crystal clear from this that the pic was genuine and the attempts to discredit it were the hoax. This is from the editor of the Yorkshire Evening Post, that fact checked and broke the story before it went national:

The Spectator, one of the most loyal of all Tory publications and where Boris was once editor, even suggested in their evening bulletin on the night of the incident that it wasn't a hoax and that Boris had just got it wrong.
It doesn't end there of course. Conservative HQ then briefed various friendly journalists that Matt Hancock's aide had been assaulted by Labour activists on the visit to Leeds. CCHQ then had to apologise when CCTV footage showed there was no truth in it.Offcomedun likes this. -

However, the anti-Semitism issue is complicated. There are many LP members, myself included, who are very critical of the current hard right Israeli government because of its treatment of the Palestinians and it's continual illegal land grabs. These members are not anti-Semitic. But the conservative Jewish establishment in Britain wants to define any criticism of Israel's government, however justified, as anti-Semitism. Corbyn's failure to deal with the real antisemites in the party has allowed the two issues - genuine anti-Semitism and criticism of Israel - to become conflated and the media has dismally failed to distinguish between the two. This has given the impression to the general public that the LP is rammed full of anti-Semites, when nothing could be further from the truth.
There are many Jewish LP members, and other Jewish people, who are very critical of Israel and of the unelected British Jewish 'leadership'. Non religious Jews are 50% of the British Jewish population but the 'leadership' is totally synagogue-based and its uncritical support for the Israeli government does not represent the views of many British Jews.

And I would say its better to be seen as punishing them than actually punishing them and putting the club at risk. Better to play the bad guy for this than being seen as killing a club (and opening themselves up to clubs trying to exploit it in future)Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... As much as it’s understandable to walk off it simply isn’t the right thing to do.
The perpetrators need to be caught, heavily punished, fined and banned and move on.
Keep hurting them with high technology and heavy fines it’ll soon stop, without the need for teams to walk off. -
Looks like it is going to be replayed

I certainly agree with all of your points about walking off though, I'm far from sure it will have the desired impact anyway and in the end it only really harms the fans. Especially those who have travelled long distances up and down the country of even abroad.
I was more asking what ideas you had about procedures you'd put in place. It's a difficult and sensitive subject and people's answers on this vary wildly which obviously suggests there aren't any easy answers. -
At the lower levels, they would need to find a way of ensuring it was actually the fans of that team doing it, as I mentioned at that level segregation is less of a thing as you can often walk from the away end and into the home end freely but if it gets as far as a match being abandoned its going to be more than a couple of isolated fans which makes it harder to manipulate it to look like the other teams fansStop hovering to collapse... Forest Green V Scunthorpe match was delayed today and an announcement made after a Scunthorpe player was racial abused. Apparently the man that did it was pointed out by the other Forest Green fans and was removed whilst the crowd chanted their disapproval.
Even though the swift action by Forest Green has been congratulated by Kick It Out they could still be in trouble from the EFL or FA -

Gary Neville blamed Boris Johnson for fuelling racism after last nights disgusting behaviour by racist Man City fans. What an idiot!. The neanderthal shown making monkey gestures is probably too thick to even know who Boris Johnson is

The level of racial abuse has increased massively since the result of the Brexit referendum. It's created a climate in which more people now think it's ok to be openly hostile to people who look different from them. Johnson's (and Trump's) use of language exacerbates that trend by seemingly making it ok to use derogatory language about minority ethnic groups. And not everyone who perpetrates racial abuse is thick. -

You have social media, and a desire to be "noticed", give some "outrage" and some dunderheads will repond, negatively or positively, the current political events do not cross their minds. It is spectacularly illuminating that you you used the names "Johnson" and "Trump" but not another's in a day when some horrendous anti-semtic opinions have been made public from anothers party's members and that party's reluctance to deal with the complaints laid bare.
