I’m more concerned that the person who thought Jacob Hanson was a prospect worth spending £30k on, has left a list of targets for the new manager/owners to go after. The problem with recruitment lies there. Get somebody who actually knows what they’re looking at/for.

I think we need to lower our expectations of our next appointed manager. He will be cheap, and he will be working under Edin guidance. So wishing and hoping for a good manager, well that ship has sailed. We may get lucky and find a gem I hope so, but I won’t be holding my breath. Our signings will reflect our new status. We have genuinely gone backwards. It is not just because we have not got in the playoffs, it is our overall approach that has changed.

If I am being too pessimistic so be it, but after supporting city for 50 years or so, I cannot think of a worse time apart from administrations. The world of football has changed so dramatically since my love affair with city started so trying to compare the different era ‘s is impossible. It is in two parts before and after administrations. I will leave the tragic and dreadful fire apart, as that was and still is a hurt that many will never recover.

We at the moment having nothing solid to lean on, the shifting sands of the manager merry go round is in full swing, two owners who are very naive and worse they will not listen keep making mistakes that the club are is ultimately paying for. It just feels out of control and as fans it so frustrating having to watch mistakes being made.

So unless Arsene Wenger is coming to manage us, there will be no whoops of joy from me.

Wow a man with an ego as big as you can get
Made a balls at Sunderland took us down several places in the league
You would think you were listening to a manager who had just won the Premier League
Champions League and FACup in the same season. Expecting to spend vast amounts on the training ground with no decent first team players is a joke No love for the present chairmen but think they dodged the bullet there. His exploits this season coupled with his attitude of I am the big I am. Will am sure make any chairman think twice before giving him a job

See ya Simon, have never seen such mind numbing footie in all my life, from my NW corner seat I developed an expert knowledge of Bradford's skyline whilst watching Callum Guy hoof it miles.

No matter what you think of Grayson. He is proven at this level. I am more worried that once again his thoughts regarding money spent on the first team rather than development to unearth investors a sum is more important to a club like Bradford City.

Dunno if you can see it from the NW corner, but from the Kop if you look over the top of the dressing rooms you can see someone's telly. It's easier to watch during night games when the sky's a bit darker.

Grayson definitely thinks he's to good for us and what a cop out of excuses he gives . What's up does he think it might be to hard a job for him after all he keeps banging on about how he likes a challenge and he's a championship manager. More like he thought I'll get these promoted as their in 6th place and it will put me in good stead for a bigger championship club in the summer , but he got a shock when he came. So this brilliant manager couldn't turn things around and it needed the city fans at Blackpool to embarrass and make the players feel so low for them to turn it around. If you look at the sky games he was in charge of before Blackpool and the game directly afterwards that just proves it wasn't down to the great one it was fan power and the more I listen to Grayson the more I'm glad he's gone. I would rather watch a new guy who tries to get his team to play good football with heart and commitment and lose ,than Graysons shite hoof ball dinosaur tactics and then have to listen to his "it's everybody else's fault "excuses cos he's a championship manager. He's just as much at fault as the players for the way things went upto the Blackpool game and didn't know how to fix it just like Stuart didn't but at least he had the balls to admit it. I say good riddance to an up your own arse wannabe championship manager and that's one thing you will never be good enough to be league 1s your level.

Today's T&A article suggests the pitch and the training ground as two things Grayson wanted solving.

Assuming the pitch is being sorted then I'm guessing the training ground was a real sticking point for him.

Says he had no problem with the owners. Which seems to put two fingers up at all those who say they are meddling in the team.

While the training ground and facilities may be improved on it was good enough for PP and SM. It is certainly better when we were in the premiership. Pitch - yes terrible but the type of football he had us playing certainly did not require the highest standard. I am sure Burton do not have state of the art facilities and yet have got to the championship - as the saying goes it is a poor craftsman who consistently blames his tools for poor products.

The training pitches are like bowling greens, his problem might be the short walk from the building to the pitch. Better off without this fella, football management is not an easy ride and this one was not up for the challenge.

I have now listened to his exit interview. I can honestly say I am no wiser as to why he has left. Even the commentator said but Bradford are addressing those things! The reality is he was not good enough to turn us around, and a string of excuses to explain why that happened. He is a career manager who is always going to be looking for something better. A manager who states that the fact that we don’t own our training ground as a reason footballers will not be attracted to come here give me a break. I have never been down there, but from all accounts our facilities are good? The pitch is being sorted as we speak. Yes for years nothing has been done with the infrastructure due to wanting to focus on the team!

Therefore would you agree that the owners have come in for an unfair amount of stick, by people who didn’t even know the reasons why he turned us down?

They have made mistakes but look to be addressing the things that have been neglected for well over a decade. Unfortunately this has impacted on the quality of the first team.

As a fan I want a strong first team squad first and foremost, but if they can right the wrongs of the past along they way, then surely that’s a good thing long term. They have to dip into their own pockets though to speed up the process.

I'm pretty sure they have one of the top 5 training grounds in the country.

I get your point but you picked a terrible example!

If the pitch ( that we are improving) and training facilities are 2 of the main reasons he has left then Larry’s More clueless than I thought. However let’s be frank it really has nothing to do with either
