Well we were lucky to have him, major coupe for City, turned our season around!!!!!

A lot of fans were hoping the successful championship manager could turn our fortunes around and bring success. In my opinion, if he really wanted to stay he would have made that commitment from day one and signed a longer contract. Some of his comments about clearing out some of our squad isn't actually motivating to those players. although McCall hasn't got the track record he was a much better motivator of players than Grayson.

 

I can see him now, clapping and waving his arms as he walks down the aisle, acting like an arse, shouting at the vicar and his wife to be, telling them where to go before lobbing the ring in the opposite direction.

 

Things in place to keep improvement and making us better, as you go along you see things you didn't agree to or feel uncomfortable with ?

Edin & Stefan inherited problems from previous times things should have improved and developed over the past, we were living hand to mouth, and improving the football side season on season, what planet have you been on Grayson ?.

Things behind the scenes that need to improve, no comment.

Pitch a problem....yet they are going to revamp the pitch, so whats your problem ?

They don't have their own training facilities, does it matter if they belong to the club or not, wasn't it only recently Leeds bought their training facility's back they didn't have a problem recruiting.

With regards the new manager, says he doesn't know what the owners want to do ?. mentioned experience or development sound that could have been a sticking point.

No problem with Edin he and Edin spoke regularly, we try and work things out together to get the best results since I've been there ?.

Enthusiastic about going to Bradford because of what potentially could happen, it didn't work out that's why I will asses all the situations and make sure I'm refreshed and ready to go.

Well reported @Bronco. From this you can see he either didn’t do his homework or he wasn’t interested in staying beyond the current contract, regardless of what he’s saying in public.

 

We were hoping Grayson was going to be the man he past record suggested he could do the job, he as you say didn't do "due diligence" , some of his comments sounded like excuses, training facilities I'm no expert but the last time I was down the front pitch near the car park was far better than Valley Parade, around the back is a relatively new training area but it looks fine, how many league one clubs have their own gym and pool, there are also treatment areas for the physio to work with the players, not bad for league one.
The pitch is getting done we are told unless he knows more than the owners are telling us, but my understanding is it will be done over two season.

We move on and await the next managerial announcement, they won't be short of applicants but what sort of caliber they are is another matter.

Not sure what to expect Bronco but the caliber of any applicant must be of a high standard and a man who isn't frightened to speak up and make himself heard above the parapet when the going gets tough, and it will mark my words the Bradford City Rollercoaster is under reconstruction like our squad.
Buckle up mate it's going to be a bumpy ride next season no matter who's in charge.

The only fact is, none of us know. What if Wyke goes for silly money? I can see Edin in a show of desperation for popularity - pledging it all for the kitty

And what if it is say the 14th best? Doesn't having 15K fans count for anything? Parky's budget in 14/15 wasn't that great and we were a daft blunder (Chesterfield home match who ended up in the play-offs) from actually making them

If we had the best budget, then you come across as the type of fan who want blood if we weren't top at the end of November

I seriously think (and I do keep repeating myself) that you and several fans get some perspective. Apparently, we just had a disastrous season and ended up in the top half of L1. Some fans on here never thought that would be possible 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 years ago (you take your pick)

The season has been terrible, but more as a comedy of errors and bad luck, i.e. get a very good CB and then he gets a mysterious injury or the nightmare time for injuries Chicksen had or the bizarre incompetent care of Reeves's groin (would that have happened under PP?) - in a few years we'll laugh. But yes, it's all too raw now

Maybe we'll have equal luck as we've had bad luck this season

 

Would our owners employ that kind of manager, if they do and he has control over the likes of transfer dealings it would help get the doubters back onside, the thing that makes me think that won't happen is because they (I assume Greg and Edin) have a list of potential targets I would prefer the new man to be his own man and he decides who he wants to sign, obviously within the financial constraints.

 

And the assumption of a transfer target list not been agreed and sanctioned by a new manager would indeed be farcical to say the least.

I've been as positive as possible. I've just had enough. We're going backwards. The budget doesn't allow us to challenge and run a development squad.

I've backed every Manager since PP joined. So, no I wouldn't want blood if we weren't top by November.

We're turning into a feeder club. We're Crewe or Exeter in disguise. Forget the first team, let's keep spending that £30k on the likes of Jacob Hanson (Who 18 months later can't get into the Halifax team).

I have perspective, I don't see us in the Championship anytime soon with this strategy.

As I stated in an earlier post, what are R&R doing here? I'm confused what the plan is.
