Unless he is willing to sign an extension we should sell him. For whatever reason he just hasn’t clicked with all the fans, might just be his demeanour but he rarely smiles and doesn’t come across as being happy here.

I think the majority of City fans were quite happy with last season because most things were delt with by the last owners, and the new owners weren't going to change things that had brought our club sucsess we were told.
They honoured the ticket price and although it was said why Phil Parkinson left once Stuart took the reins many were delighted, until the news got out they wanted to sack Stuart after the epic season we had, I'll bide my time before going overboard about what they intend to do then when I see its actions rather than comments they will get my full backing.Tony Wilkinson, The Evidence and BenitoCarbone like this. -
Pissing myself at some of these ITK people.
Grayson close to a deal
Charlie Wyke telling people he's fallen out of love with club while completely sober at a POTY award etc....
Beyond embarrassing, I could understand stuff getting out under the old regime as Mark Lawn loved to talk...
People hinting they know details of meeting of which it's likely only ER, RR & SG took part in.

Of course the other option would have been to keep McCall and hoped he could kick start the season knowing he would be gone in summer, because IMO that was the only reason for bringing Grayson in and it didn't work unfortunately.

Mixed feelings about it really would be happier if he signed a longer contract initially
Hope he is better than his last results and style of play
Sounds to have a big ego and can see plenty of clashes with the powers that be
He can talk the talk let's see if he has enough in his locker to back it up
Sincerely hope soTillo, The Evidence and Bronco like this. -

Once again time will prove the Urban Soldier has called it right again. ;-)
The Mac will get offered a contract whether he agrees or not only Tony will know. And Charlies agents will know what others need to pay to allow him to leave to bolster Simons budget.
Edins has been put in his place by Rupp and in all honesty today is a good day. Pity Rupp has had to apologise on behalf of Edin. A stepping stone but a full apology from the man that has caused most the unrest would have been the golden ticket.
Rupp knows what caused the slump and now knows how to make sure it never happens again. I expect agents will now be talking to another party and not Edin. That goes for sponsors too.punk bantam, Silverbantam and Onside like this. -
I've said that lots of different styles are successful. You've just named teams who are successful and play the style you like. It doesn't change the fact that there are other teams who don't fit your perception but still succeed in one way or another. -

Jewell's team was slightly more orthodox, more solid. Dolan's team would (imo) have coped better with the Premier League.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Bronco, Offside and RonnieBrown like this. -

End of a disappointing season of subterfuge and innuendos, and now, at least, we can rekindle optimism in a new beginning. Hopefully, a new approach and a fresh strategy to move us on through pre-season and into next.

He came to city to put his face back out there if things had gone well and we had scraped into a play off place he would be hoping for a Championship club to come and get him.Morley Bantam, RonnieBrown and Storck like this. -
