Spot on. At the end of the season SG will have been here 13 matches and we can totally disregard the first 6 as that's how long it too those thick numbskulls on the pitch that Stuart had gone and they needed to knuckle down.

Judge Grayson on the results in the last seven matches of the season and even if we lose at Scunny he's picked up more points in the month since 10th April than the club got in the preceeding three and a half months.

The play offs were lost between 2nd Jan and 10th April and no-one can blame Grayson for that.

 

Why are you suddenly saying that we’re getting a bigger budget next season? Where is the money coming from given the fall in season ticket sales?

A lot of players should be looking in a mirror and asking 'Am I WORTH a new contract' let alone wanting, or expecting one .... from ANY club. Our rapid demise was not the Fans, nor wholly the Board - It was the players on the pitch !!

 

Regarding the McCall appointment, once Phil Parkinson had turned down Edins offer of helping Phil out with football maters, the club were left in a very embarrassing position they had let the Messiah leave and didnt have a plan B.
As we know they were told of a certain ex-player and ex-manager who was unemployed at the time and if he accepted the job it would make the majority of City fans forget Phil Parkinson and what a great job he had done over the previous 5/6 seasons.
We will have a pretty good idea of the way things are going within a couple of weeks if not before, but I do hope this time they have a plan B because the next 8/9 weeks will be crucial to how the 2018/19 season goes we don't want to be bringing players into the club in January to stave off relegation they need to be players who will add to a promotion push, let's hope as Stefan has quoted " we have learnt some lessons".

Well on body language alone it is not looking like he will be here next season. So unless things change over the weekend, he may well be saying his goodbyes

 

Thanks for posting this link. I always thought the manager and his assistant would ensure players " performed " in training so they were ready for selection.

 

On body language the club need to get the managers dressing room fumigated he never stopped scratching either his neck, his head or his leg.

 

He looked uncomfortable fobbing off questions about his future, but you could be right he might have some visitors lol. He is an honest man, and trying to evade questions doesn’t come easy. I don’t know maybe a Rupp or Rahic want to do the big announcements?

At the same time though , why would he want to clarify a few things if he definitely wasn't staying? The video can be interpreted in whatever way you wish to interpret it, he's not given much away.

You might be right but everything I read from that interview says he is off. If you are to be the new manager you would need more than a brief conversation

He's been here 3 months maybe he's had discussions with Edin at training he does enjoy the interaction side being the of Head of Football.
