Agree he sounds like he is staying but surely he must know by now
Mixed feelings about it really would be happier if he signed a longer contract initially
Hope he is better than his last results and style of play
Sounds to have a big ego and can see plenty of clashes with the powers that be
He can talk the talk let's see if he has enough in his locker to back it up
    Sincerely hope so

I think Grayson represents the best option for us seeing a clearout of the dead wood players this summer. If he stays, will be interesting to see who he wants to bring in, or more to the point, who he is allowed to bring in. If he stays, I don't think Abbo will have as much influence, if he returns after illness

Once again time will prove the Urban Soldier has called it right again. ;-)

The Mac will get offered a contract whether he agrees or not only Tony will know. And Charlies agents will know what others need to pay to allow him to leave to bolster Simons budget.

Edins has been put in his place by Rupp and in all honesty today is a good day. Pity Rupp has had to apologise on behalf of Edin. A stepping stone but a full apology from the man that has caused most the unrest would have been the golden ticket.

Rupp knows what caused the slump and now knows how to make sure it never happens again. I expect agents will now be talking to another party and not Edin. That goes for sponsors too.

I'd say Mowbray's Blackburn are cloggers, they've just got a lot of quality.

Last season, Millwall and Bolton were definitely cloggers.

What list are you working from to suggest 'good' (stupid term) football is particularly effective without a killer budget?

I pray this is all correct, except McMahon getting a contract.

If McMahon gets offered a new contract and Grayson stays then we will lose more fans next season.

Why on earth Rupps wants Grayson to stay I will never know... boring the crowd to death.

His style of play is the death of football.

McMahon gets a lot of unfair stick in my opinion - I really like him. Thinks he’s a very useful player for us.

You really do have it in for Rahic, don't you Taddy?

Is that because he gave you the sack? Just remind us all why that was the case. Was it for referring to some of our black players in offensive and racist terms?

It's utter bollocks isn't it. Every style of football can work and some people just ignore the cases who go against their personal preference.

People complained like hell about the style of football under PP but it engaged with me much more than the slower style under McCall where the ball was often in neutral areas and therr were long periods with nothing to excite you. It's not right or wrong or good or bad though. The PP style of football has always seemed to get the atmosphere going at VP.

There are people who prefer the other style - as is their preference obviously - and they have a lot of the positive words that come along with that such as "pretty", "good" and "entertaining" but they're all subjective. It's easy to take the high ground though when you have those words on your side but it doesn't necessarily mean they're right.

I'm more than happy if we go along the down and dirty route rather then the nice and pretty one.

Far too early write off Bruenker in my opinion. In my view he’s been growing and in confidence and starting to show early signs that he could be a useful player for us.

For example his positional awareness seemed much improved to me.

If you are giving us a choice i would watch what the likes of Sheffield Utd or Bristol City or Wigan produced while winning this division than the likes of what Millwall and Bolton under Parky served up. All the teams mentioned gained promotion from league 1 but the football played was like chalk and cheese.

Who would you get rid of Park? And what positions would you look to strengthen?

Man City, Wolves, Wigan/Blackburn & Accrington.

I'll throw in Liverpool & Madrid.

So above you've the league championships and the finalists of the CL.

All of them play attacking football.

So you're stuck ine past mate and like the owners have no direction or clue. Get will how football is today and today you need to play an attacking brand of football to successful.

Grayson can get a tune out of us. If Scunny play their 1st 11 today then we lose. Grayson is old news mate. He won't take this club up but will talk a good game.

Hey we will lose fans though but yeah let's stick to sleep walking football.

Rupps an Edin are clueless if they want him to continue.

There is a difference between defensive football and direct football. I think much of Stuart’s play was defensive and poor to watch.
Playing football in your opponents half with goalmouth action can be really good to watch

Left back to compete with Chicksen
Younger right back again to compete
    One possibly two centre backs
Another sitting midfielder and most importantly an attacking midfielder
If Wyke stay one more striker
    And a right winger
